D Michael Hi, back jack uses a latin style beat. Bandlab is pretty bad for latin sounds, so here is a basic beat setup... Add an instrument track with the Brush Kit drum kit In the step sequencer, add a closed hihat sound to the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th squares of the 16 square bar Add a snare sound to the 5th and 13th squares Now add another instrument track with the Afro cuban percussion kit In the step sequencer, add the middle sized tom sound to the 1st, 7th, 9th 11th squares Add the largest sized tom (lowest sound) sound to the 13th and 15th squares You should now have the basic back jack beat
