Guys ground out a sycamore stump at my place. They had 4 pieces of plywood. Two pairs joined with hinges. They made a barricade so rocks wouldn't fly out and break stuff. Effective.

Looks like the Bandit guys built their machine without checking out the competition.

Yeah I've heard good things about Bandit but it seems like they kinda dropped the ball here.

Another informative video, enjoy watching what you’re working on. I see a couple of Bobcat machines in the background, the S250 and 334……any videos on those?

Not yet but there will be. The 334 runs and operates but needs a bunch of repairs. The S250 needs a new engine I was told.

A Bobcat would come in handy.

If you, add a play all tab to your videos page. Personally I'd play all your content in my back pocket at work l like it so much.

Wow thank you. Unfortunately youtube did away with the "play all" option several years ago. Now the only way to play all of a channel's videos is to manually put them in a playlist.

It seems like both machines could do with finer control on dropping the cutter and advancing the machine. It looks too easy to go too far really fast.

It is very easy to take too big of a bite with these little grinders.

So a Baretto with a bigger engine? Are you gonna keep both?

Actually Barreto makes a 37-SG which is the same machine with a bigger engine and hydraulic system but for some reason they are way more expensive and much less common than the 30SG. I'll probably sell the Bandit but I want to use it a little more before I decide.

Why is the belt guard missing on the Bandit? Has it been problematic?

@@AlwaysBored123 You own both? How often do you select to use the Bandit when the Barreto is available? % of jobs.

@@jamescolton1085 Yes I own them both. Really the only reason I would use the Bandit is for narrow access jobs the Barreto is too wide for. I'm trying to sell the Bandit actually.

@@AlwaysBored123 I really appreciate your review and insights here. I was planning to buy a Bandit 40SGT and have decided to go with the Barreto primarily based on your shared perspectives. I anticipate the E30SG rather than the 37 for my first machine in the size range.

@@jamescolton1085 Glad to help. I think the reliability and ease of maintenance of a hydraulic grinder outweigh the mild efficiency advantage of a belt driven one. The Barreto's are not powerhouses but they are mechanically bulletproof and very user friendly. Good luck!
