Wow thats nice coming from a man with your knowledge! Thanks! I was just making it up as I went along.
Better then when it left the factory. Underrated workhouse that could be turned in to a mental hooligans street fighter 👍🏻

Found this, noone here since 3 years. Getting my 1st Bandit next week. Thats an amazing work, you did. Cannot describe... you rescued a life. BUT there is one thing I really HATE about this bike. It really makes me mad... WHY IS THIS YOUR BANDIT, NOT MINE!!! Serious, really great work, you can be proud of yourself!
You sir are incredibile .The video shows your love for the bike ,stunning. Enjoy the ride.

Nice video, inspiring. I just got a 2004 bandit 600n. It's a bit on the rusty side with no modifications or cosmetics put on it. I hope to make it look a lot nicer than it is now.

I'm in the middle of getting my bandit 1200s running. My father gave it to me when he passed away in 2012.
This is actually insane!!! I have just stripped my bandit and am repainting it like yours! The most insane thing is I saw the purple number 17 bus and I didn't believe it at first and now I know the exact road you were on and I am also from Reading! :O

What a great rebuild. It looks so awsome :) I just bought my first bike, a 400 bandit. the carbs are leaking and cooler fan aint working, the air fuel mixture is wrong. Really looking forward to start fixing it but abit afraid I dont have enough knowledge. Its expensiv for mechanics in Norway. Again, GREAT BUILD, loved your laughter at the end :)
@risc19
7 жыл бұрын
Hello sir! Thank you very much for your kind words. Do not worry about having the knowledge. Just treat each part of the bike as it's own project, and repair it one part at a time. Also, make good use of the internet, there are so many people that are interested in your bike and are happy to help you. Don't feel overwhelmed, just remember, one part at a time. Good luck with your project, and ride safe.

Hi the bike looks awesome, thinking of doing this to my bandit. Did you powder coat all the frame, swing arm, suspension engine etc?
@risc19
9 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes I did get the frame and the tank media blasted and powder coated. It was worth the money.
nice. where did you get that seat?

I'm at the point of wanting to repaint the frame and engine... Is it easy enough to pull apart?
@risc19
8 жыл бұрын
+Michael Westgate It's easy enough but to do the frame you have to dismantle everything, I mean everything. Takes time and effort. Just get help to get the engine out, its quite heavy and could damage you and it's self.
@Chichenontour09
8 жыл бұрын
+risc19 so don't just hoof it out on to the soft grass.. I might buy a whole new frame and transfer across. seen them for 60 quid odd, assuming it's legit and not wrote off. might be a short cut.
@risc19
8 жыл бұрын
+michael westgate Could do! The grass isn't a bad idea however getting it all lined up with the frame when putting it back is a pain in the butt so may still need help (i did it alone). Yeah, pick up a new frame, I would recommend getting it sandblasted before painting as its got some very awkward little corners where rust could be hiding. Then just transfer parts over, good luck!
