Bandidos Forever also means Brotherhood Forever - and even 20 years after one´s demise, one is far from forgotten. The best evidence for that was the 20th Paul Memory Run organised by the Bandidos Chapter Meran on 16 September 2023. On the occasion of that anniversary, the commemoration was extended to remember also the other deceased members of the Federation.
For this purpose, the event moved from the Clubhouse to a particular rented festival site, which met the requirements of a correspondingly upgraded organisation. As the food counter for the culinary supplies, the drinks counter excelled by professional staff. Various stalls and banners featuring the deceased - at every second - kept the main reason of that meeting alive. Those who wanted, in addition to celebrating the Brothers in the Forever Chapter, a few contemplative minutes found a suitable opportunity at the small memorial tent.
However, before the party started, numerous Harley Davidsons roared through the town on their way to the cemetery. In an orderly formation, the grave was then visited, where a wreath was laid down, and NVP Bandido Sandra1%er spoke some reverent words to those gathered.
The initial canned music was replaced later in the evening by a live band playing atmospheric old school evergreens. In particular the evening fireworks were impressive and could also be understood as a greeting from the living to the deceased Brothers. The character of a community is to see in how it commemorates its deceased members - in this respect, the Chapter Meran proved that the Bandidos MC also deserves top marks.
