Man I was almost in tears lord have mercy that was so beautiful they did the late great whitney and Houston justice on this arrangement I loved it.

As far as the jsu Talladega battle we watch YOUR videos to see YOUR opinion so people may disagree but this is your take on it.

I was at this game and I seen Alcorn do SU bad in person. No band wasn't gone beat Alcorn this night right here. And im a JSU and SU fan

those first notes for I Love the Lord sound like a dream sequence

I remember watching this battle and reading one of the comments which said,"Who pissed Alcorn off ?"...I have to agree.🙁

It happens, Alcorn got em in 2015, and the 2019 regular season matchup was a problem too

I think this the year the Corn AND the Boom rocked that little corner. Boom played that little tag on song for the first time that year. Props to SU for the gospel song at the beginning. I guess this was back when they felt God was still a He.😄

I know you just did these two schools, but you gotta check out their Zero from the 2019 season. Killa Kev captured it. It was in October. Such a good battle.

That 3rd song by southern is “Get It On” that’s a true throwback they should’ve practiced that more. Listen to 2004 southern when they played that against Alcorn it blew them back in the band room! But Alcorn do sound pretty good with power!

That’s a good arrangement when you can tell the song almost immediately that Ralph Tresvant I knew it immediately. It was a simple but effective arrangement.

All I can say is “Ouuuu..” 🥶🤭🤯😳 It was the beginning battle hit em wit a gospel for me.. That arrangement was so immaculate & Southern hit almost EVERY element you could think of in the song.. Dynamics, musicality, intonation, harmonization, balance, need I go on? Lol 😂 Bruh, lol… BUT, SOUTHERN what the hell is up wit the selections?? bruh 😖🤦🏾‍♂️👎🏾 🙅🏾‍♂️ Alcorn get my props too! 👏🏾

SU plans their songs. Unless you challenge them or make them angry, they don't care about any school except in the Boombox or Bayou Classic. They have a plan to perfect 90 songs a season so they got to be in rotation & then discarded.

The song you didn't recognize is called get it on

Look at the numbers to rate the power of the bands.

If Alcorn had the Jukebox instrumentation, their sound volume would hard to withstand upclose.

Hey Kev, the 2nd song Alcorn played was Ralph Treavant Do What I gotta Do. Also this was Su first year without Haymer. I think he always called the song selection. They definitely call some wrong song selection this battle and made the battle closer than it should have been.

I told you Alcorn came to play.

Nahhhh! Alcorn was consistent through and through. This was their battle.

This was one of Alcorn recent better years... the numbers were up and football was winning championships.

Alcorn came with their A game their year and total took Jukebox by surprise. it was a W for Alcorn. Their arrangements and performance were excellent. SU was great as usual but their arrangements were not geared for a battle with SOD.

It’s always the Deduction for me🤣🤣😂😂💀💀

It was homecoming had to satisfy the alumni. And Alcorn director is a former juke

I think this is just one of those cases where SU didn't think alcorn was worth it. Kinda like tnsu with kstate this year

Alcorn was way better then SU just because you're louder doesn't make you better. I've never seen a reaction of yours where JSU or SU has loss unless battling one another.

Yeah he proved his bias on this video, Alcorn won the 1st 3rds full stop. SU recovered late but I had Alcorn edging them out.

The Jukebox pre-plans their song selection 100% of the time and will respond to JSU BUT MOSTLY chooses to ignore other bands like Alcorn. Alcorn woke up SU after they cranked SO SU finally cranked one. Who wants to be eaten alive? ALCORN APPARENTLY!!! I PREFER MY dancers classy to humping or bucking. There's nothing you can do or say to change the way SU calls song selection. It's in advance; and, yes they will play one or two songs they are trying out. It amazes me that no one gives credit to SU for playing 3-min or 4-min songs. All other bands except JSU & ASU (sometimes) play more than 2-min. At the end of most battles, SU has played for twice as many minutes as the band they are battling. JSU has to reprise so much to get their 2-min arrangements to be 4-min songs.

I know you like Su KB but you were wrong in this battle ASU won this battle this time and you gave SU what a deduction plus the mess up on the last song, come on now, I feel like if it would been any other band they would have gotten an L.

Just because your arrangements are nice doesn't make the song selection great..Su played garbage songs..T.Pain bruh really(Buy you a drink)🤦‍♂️...Alcorn had nice arrangements and they pulled out classic tunes..Dru Hill(How Deep Is Your Love) Ralph Tresvant(Do What I Gotta Do) etc...Corn dealt with Su on they homecoming..Football & Band🤷‍♂️
