I feel bad for her because today whatever work she had done on her face seriously backfired.

i dont care about soap opera, but this show holds a special place in my heart because back then i was still a kid, but i have those sweet memories of my mother and grandma and aunties sitting together and watching it :)) So watching bits of pieces like these are like a travel machine back in time, oh well

I totally understand you 😃 This show resembles me my childhood. I used to watch it with my grandmother for some years. Now I watch some clips and episodes when I want to relax, but I mainly choose these before 2012, because IMO after Susan and Ronn departure this show hasn 't been the same.

My father used to watch this when he retired and he watched because he thought that Hunter Tylo was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen on television. He loved watching this show with my mom. They were big fans of the love story between Ridge and Taylor.

Ridge was never _not_ in love with Taylor from the time they were married. He loves Taylor and Brooke with equal passion, just in different ways. But her death, man... it all but *destroyed him,* _especially_ after he had recovered from Caroline's passing. So seeing her there was an automatic shock. I prefer his reaction when she came back the second time, though.

​@@cmsmith1973 Disagree. I _will_ say that his affections tended to sway with the need for drama and ratings, yes, but that's normal Soap Opera thing. It was purported he was *too stable* with Taylor, hence why their relationship, while usually long, never lasted. But yeah, he had genuine feelings for both Taylor _and_ Brooke, it was simply a matter of who was "ebbing or flowing" at the time. Concurrently, Brooke _always_ had a love for Ridge, but her need for _attention_ would shift to whatever man was available.

I always loved Ridge and Taylor together ! I cant stand HObrooker! But Steffy is my favorite, liked she and Liam as a couple. However, recently not so much, too much waffling from Liam. And i also liked the connection she had with Bill, not the sleeping together part that was sad., but just how they used to jive and look out for each other.

Obviously how Taylor ended up not being on the plane is contrived yet plausible this is a great example of what Dallas should of done concerning Bobby's "death" not some totally phony boloney dream but something while a stretch the audience can buy.... of course after Taylor's ultimate number of back from the dead storylines became harder to do. LOL

They brought back the more popular character who added more to Ridge's life, dude. Even through the attempted character fungiibility, where they basically tried to make _Karen_ into a carbon copy of _Caroline,_ even down to Blake _deliberately_ trying to *make her fall in love with Ridge,* _Taylor's_ dynamic with Ridge had become so favored and popular, that that story line was straight up _abandoned._ Mind you, Caroline _did_ leave a lasting impact on Ridge, but her role in the family simply couldn't be "taken up" by someone who _didn't_ have the *history* with Ridge that she did. It's like Batman trying to recreate his original Robin magic he had with Dick Grayson with all the others; just because they are wearing the suit and serving the role, _Doesn't_ mean its the same "person" or dynamic. That's why R&C were never really seen as a "Super Couple" the way R&B or R&T were. _Taylor,_on the other hand, had a wholly _unique_ dynamic with Ridge; she didn't "Guide him" like Caroline, or "Fawn over him", like Brooke; she was a strong female character who (at least at first) _Challenged him_ to be the man she knew he could be, and win her affections in a more mature, lasting way that was less about sex and passion (Brooke) or traditional values and duty (Caroline) but more about _balancing_ each other (He was Fun; she was Serious, she's the scientist, he's the Artist, he's "Action, now!" she's "Let's think about this.") From what I gathered, people _liked_ that dynamic, along with the fact that Taylor wasn't another big blonde California Barbie/heiress type. So to Bill Bell, it made more sense to develop something new and fresh rather than fall back on something old.

Taylor never hypnotised Ridge, other than James he knew about every mistake she made and every lie she told, the writers never protected her reputation, well they couldn't have because we see everything that happens, it's just that Brooke lied so much more and did more and worse things and part of them were out of pure selfishness and not a human slip like with Taylor so enough with this lame victimhood! Brooke got more because she did much more simple as that! And unlike the crap you implied here, other than James, Taylor always admitted her mistakes and took responsibility for them unlike Brooke who was always found out and made lame excuses to blame others or the circumstances without ever taking any responsibility.. face it, Taylor was a wonderful person, Brooke was a lying selfish bitch who did anything to get what she wanted without giving a flying fuck who got hurt in the process
