How to Sew a Bandana Bib - Bandana bib Tutorial
Lets compare these three bib patterns. With a new little one sometimes finding something that fits your style and works well for your child is hard to do. In this video we will compare three different free patterns.
Pattern 1 was found on Sew4Home and is a traditional bandana bib. Bib 2 is more of a rounded style that is super cute and can be embellished in many ways. This one is a little looser but gives a nice drape. Bib 3 is an infinity style that is promoted as being multifunctional. This bib can not only be a bib but also a lovie and a burp cloth.

Thank you! New grandma here needing to make some of these! ❤
Thank you for this tutorial, there are so many patterns out there so having 3 styles (in differing sizes too) all linked in one place was helpful. Plus, you are my type of sewist; too many tutorials I watch don't press and I honestly find them cringe-worthy and hard to watch! Happy sewing!
Thanks a million for your beautiful bib patterns and very much for your friendly and clear instructions!!! I really enjoyed the tutorial, and know that it will be as joyful to sew!! God bless!!
You are probably thinking of double gauze for the swaddling fabric and that white fabric is eyelet. Thanks for the comparison!
I enjoyed your video very much! Thanks!

Its a beadsmith leather punch here is a link for you. amzn.to/34y3kKF
If you stitched around the whole bib how did you get red on the front and white thread on the back? How did you separate the stitches?

Usually when you thread your machine you use the same color for the top spool as you do for the bobbin. This is fine when the fabrics you are sewing together are the same or when the underside of your project will never be visible. However, if you are sewing something like a place mat and the top side is one color and the underside is a different color, it will look more professional if you match the thread on each side. This is easy to do: what you need to know is that when you’re top-stitching the thread you see on the right side of the fabric (the side facing up to you) is coming from the top spool of thread (she used red) and the stitching underneath (the side facing down while you’re sewing) is coming from the bobbin (she used white).

Most of the time I use quilting cotton on the front and either diaper flannel or toweling on the back (depends how absorbent you need it to be).
cant find the printable pattern

on the first one ...you have to scroll way down the page after the supplies needed section. I usually scroll and look for a subscribe option also.
