I'm fine with the Legends. Why does SHF struggle with hair color so much, it's crazy!

I know that Brie Larson is blonde, but I feel the hair color on this figure is too bright, almost FREAKISH-looking It’s too bright yellow and lacks shading

How well do the effects pieces fit on the ML Captain Marvel figure?

Robo, Bandai has started to put the hologram sticker on new releases. I noticed this on my Episode III Obi-Wan/Anakin and ANH Leia, as well.

Considering Black Widow's heels, I think the sizes are alright.

Black Widow/Scarlet Johansson wears boots with very large heels in all of the MCU films she's in order to look taller around the other actors so she's better in frame during filming. So the difference in height looks about right...in the heel boots, she should be around 5'6"

Yeah, got mine today and it looks great. Dirty/Han Solo face (as you point out) and I think I may have to trim a bit off the front of her ankle as I didn't think the foot went too far forward,but other than that, she's sweet! Defo glad I picked this up, just debating a face repaint...? 🤔

I actually really like this figure, only reason I'm holding off on it is because of what you get for the money. I'm not saying it should have come with a binary form head with glowing eyes and flared hair(although that'd be really cool) but at least some more effect parts like some ones that flow around the arms like the Marvel Legends binary form figure

good analysis of scale here, but it's natural for cap america to stand a bit taller tha 6 inches since his hair and shoes adds a bit of height

My first Figuarts, love the figure so much. Had to wait for your review to fully mess with it though, I was afraid I would snap it or something. Its a good fig, but I personally prefer the Legends 🌟

cap should probably be just a tad bit shorter to be in strict 1 12 scale like you say , however, we don't measure ourselves with shoes, so his shoes and also his hair sticking up a tiny bit should be taken into account

Last figuarts figure I got was the great saiyaman Awsome figure lots of accessories not a fan of the cape though.

I don't own any shf, but it seems like you should put the power effect on her fists 1st before put her hands on that small peg.

Loved the movie. Me too :) Loved SHF figure too. My piece doesn't have that the seam in the hair that visible. Totally agree that it's not worth the money they should have given the binary head. Anyway I still got it :D

I like the way the figure was originally going to look. The hair color was more realistic and the face looked more natural. I have yet to see this in person, but the yellow of the hair really stands out against the suit in a way I'm not a fan of. The Mezco version looks pretty cool, I may go that route.

Will we ever see the fortress of robotude? I mean the entire collection

I don't understand as to why Figuarts doesn't realize you should use a satin type finish in the hair to give it that sheen. Not metallic not flat

The camera just does not do justice to how much the red pops compared to the Marvel Legends version.

excellent observation here that these female figs are a tad bit too big for strict 1 12 (1 inch=1 foot), most people just assume figuarts always run smaller than 1 12 but it's far from true

Yeah, it's a cool looking CM that's close enuf to the movie look for me & yeah once again SHF skimps on the accessories (yawn...). Should have included another unmasked head with a kickin butt expression, more fire effects for the arms & how bout the cat (w/some articulation)? Fortunately the face likeness is much better than the last SHF Cap issue (didn't pay the extra $50 to 1/6th since increases that fig. cost to > $100 or so) & at least this one had effects from the movie. Harry Potter has joined the MCU? Thanks for the review.

Definitely agree, the figures is just too bare-bones for the price. What I don't understand with Bandai is that the majority of the Figuarts lines get accessories, but they cheap out with their Marvel figures (and the Marvel figures cost more money).

It feels like we’re gonna have to wait a couple iterations before they pin down Brie’s actual likeness because, man, did Legends and Figuarts whiff it. I just hope we get it sooner than it took to get a good Scarlett Black Widow.

Marvel Legends regular looked like Amy Poehler. Marvel Legends Bomber Jachet ver. looked like Robin Wright. This one looks like Price Charming from Shrek.

Bandai should be concerned with the bootlegs, they are slowly turning into not complete crap. I really like this figure, cept he hair color looks fakey.

It needs the sash in her waist. I don't know how the movie messed up her silhouette like that.

I personally think the Marvel Legends Captain Marvel figure is much better and the unmasked face it much better

Can't say I blame you. I was thinking of getting the Figuarts as an upgrade to the Legends, but that's not happening now. Shamefully, the Diamond Select one doesn't look any better either. Hasbro wins this round.
