Regardless of the band's origin story, Miku just adds so much of the intangible, indefinable magic that she is irreplaceable, especially live and really puts them over the top into the irrefutable top of the list of the best bands in the world playing today, head and shoulders above the rest. She's so animated and plays her role to perfection. She's a hype machine and has no ego to her guitar playing. If it were just Saiki in front it would still be really good, but Miku's energy is beyond infectious. The truest of team players who has the most fun doing the most thankless job but makes herself absolutely vital. Not many backing vocalists/rhythm guitarists can claim to be the face of the band, especially surrounded by such extremely talented musicians.

Just saying, it's been 4 years since this performance, they're even better now! The shows here in the states are going to be epic.

Chemistry, professionalism, charisma, dedication, energy, happiness... all this concentrated in five small bodies on a stage. No wonder they practically sold out their entire Coast to Coast tour in just a few days.

I love how Miku is rocking her pigtails and doing rock star action. And next to her, Misa is in her own world, focused and grooving. I never get tired of watching these two. This video is a world heritage left by Vladimir.

I love watching Miku living her dream. She got there the old fashioned way, hard work, talent, self sacrifice, love, and two bits of luck called -- finding Kanami and Saiki at just the right time.

You can tell who the Maidiacs are by whoever watches this and has a smile the whole time. Bad audio .. it doesn’t matter .. we know these songs and we are rocking out with them, bad audio or not. Like you mentioned .. the biggest dilemma watching their live shows will be who to focus on.

Bought my tickets for San Diego, it’s a long way from South Dakota but I’m sure it’s worth it. I only discovered them just prior to Covid or I would’ve seen them by now.

I love watching Miku go full Rockstar mode. So much joy and energy. These videos really show off her guitar skills too.

I love how from backstage, their loyal and attentive Daisuke-san is constantly checking if everything is fine. It's great to be able to rely on such a solid guitar-tech (I recommand his interview in the score book) (edit: I wrote this comment while watching the video and of course it's the first thing you mention at the end of it ^^)

I'm hoping they will come to Chicago Someday. Highly entertaining video. They are each a show unto themselves.

Normally I complain about how fast the days are going by. But now I am complaining that they aren't going fast enough. October can't get here soon enough for me. I can't wait to see them live! And hearing about how fast venues are selling out their shows is just a testament to how great they are

I am so lucky that i am in one of the cities they will be touring in. Going to them in seattle in Oct. Can't wait!

Thank You Ryan, that brings back a lot of memories. Amsterdam was my first B-M concert and I was already in high spirits like a teenie on my way from the hotel to the Melkweg, where I passed a hairdresser. On the big window "OnSet" had been written, so I thought, that must be destiny. The Melkweg is a really cozy venue with a balcony in the back and a good acoustic, as you also can hear on Silly's recording of Onset. I was standing on Kanami's side and wondered what the heck does this guy with his phone on a selfie stick in front of Misa. Half a year later Vladimir and I became close friends, when we met in Bochum and traveled to Hamburg the next day. Another six months later we met again in Japan. Without his support I had never been able to fulfill my dream. I will be eternally grateful to him and hope and pray that we can meet again sometime, safe and sound.

I got my ticket for the Seattle show. It's an 8 hour drive but it's going to be well worth it.
