以前の配信お給仕でDifferent初披露されたとき彩ちゃんが自分の出来に納得いかず、やり直しでもう一度歌いました。それでも「もっとできたはず」とSNSで悔しさを滲ませてましたが、今回の自信に満ちた圧巻のパフォーマンス。さすがです。あーちゃん言ってたように歌波ちゃん会長で、彩ちゃんFC出来たら是非入会したいです。

You are exactly right. Never get tired of them because it's always something different. And always something GOOD different. I hate to admit this, but I've listened to them about 90% of the time for 2 years now. I'm old, and not since The Beatles have I been so enthralled with a band. And a band that I can't understand most of what they sing.?.?.?. Saw them live once, seeing them again live in a month from now, I guess you're never too old for great music.... Band-Maid, wow.

Every time I watch them play live, I get something new out of it and notice one of them more than before. Misa, Kanami, they're just absolute shredders and so good.

@@nuclearchef-san8304 Sorry you have suffered so much hearing loss. In the old days, the importance of protecting our hearing wasn't taken as seriously as it is now. I've been fortunate in my 60's to have only lost some of the higher frequencies, which is amazing considering my lack of care in music and in the workplace. I envy you being that close to these ladies. I would absolutely love to meet each and every one of them, but especially the pigeon. She's more than the founder, she's the driving force behind this band and the wizard behind the curtain. As Chase Carneson says(paraphrased); They are important and special. We need to take care of them.

Hey cool. Can you point out the time stamp where Saiki sings vibrato, please, because I need to hear that. I can not recall hearing her use vibrato in any song in the BM catalog and I have listened to it many times.

Can confirm. Just recently came off medication for depression. Throughout the entire experience, the best way I found to keep on top of things was to go ride my BMX with BAND-MAID cranked up in my headphones.

@@johnp.johnson1541 she uses vibrato all the time - like the high note of the bridge in DICE (3:02) if you want an obvious example, but it's a basic texture in singing so it gets sprinkled in all over the place. Like I just clicked around and found a bit at the end of the line at 1:43

Saiki's voice in live performance is really amazing!!

Miku's seriously kicking ass with those backing vocals, so good

If you watch interviews with Miku you get the impression she’s a slightly empty headed, cutesy pigeon-based space cadet and then you realise what she has put together and read her lyrics and you understand there is a mind like a steel trap inside that fluffy little head 😍.

It's an act, Miku is far more intelligent than she leads the average fan to believe. She knows what her core audience likes and works it. Behind the scenes Miku is more than likely the deal maker while Kanami is the musical genius.

It's all part of what Miku calls THE GAP, she is sweet on the outside but a hard working businesswoman on the inside. When it comes to music she is sweet in her apperance but hard rocking on stage. Together with Saiki, Kanami, Akane and MISA she have formed a new force of nature which is Band-Maid.

There is a reddit thread that proves that and more. She actually reconstructs the Japanese language vowel and consonant structure to fit the melody lines of rock. She is truly a genius.

I've listened to a lot of Miku's interviews and she is clearly highly intelligent. Despite her using PO at the end of almost all sentences, the words she uses and how she speaks definitely show how intelligent, quick witted, confident and fearless she is. A lot gets lost in English translations of the interviews but despite the PO, she really comes across as very intelligent. I've heard one radio host comment back to her "why are you using such hard words". Akane said of Miku that she is a man's man, what she declares and the actions she takes to achieve them are awesome. Saiki says of Miku that she is deep with GIRI, which loosely translates to duty or obligation, serving with a self sacrificing devotion.

"Shreds?" She plays some pentatonic runs and some chords tossed in during the solo. She plays a well-rehearsed solo note-for-note as the same as the studio recording. It is good. She does a good job. But it is not shredding.

However, her sensibilities as a composer when knowing when to stay in the pocket and when to go all out is yet another quality that makes her not just good, but great.

She does not dive bombing, no sweep picking, no string jumping, no arpeggios, no two-handed tapping in her solo here. The playing is measured, the pace, easy. You reveal yourself to e someone who not only does not play guitar but does not know much about the instrument especially in rock music. You: "...when to stay in the pocket ..." No one says this of guitarists and dummies parrot that of bassists. The solo is nice in the song, but it is not "shredding." Tōno plays live what she has written and practiced. She has never demonstrated any skill at improvisation. Many hours of watching live boots confirms this. She strives to play note-for-note what was laid down on the albums. Good luck though!

ですね。分かります…と言うか…”ZEP TOKYO”や新木場”COAST”の映像（Blu-ray/DVD）では、”明らかに意図的に小鳩のパートをぼやかしていた”という疑念を私は拭い切れていません。翻って言えば、最近の動画（映像・音声）では小鳩の技量が安定してきたことを表しているの…かもしれませんね。

@@user-ch9di3fp7i This is true. The members have always worked hard to advance their craft. Miku had no guitar experience when she started the band; now she is very good. Most days they work on improving and practicing for several hours. And when they record, they typically work 8 hour days or more. But they also maintain humor and joy. I was hearing rock music from its beginnings. I will be 70 years old in less than two months. And for more than five years, Band-Maid is my favorite band on the planet.

These young ladies are amazing but that drummer is fantastic .

MISA just constantly ripping on that bass, damn!

私はバンドメイドが大好きです、これは彼らからの私のお気に入りの曲の1つです。

One of my favorite things about this concert is that you'd never know just from watching the girls that there isn't a huge audience in front of them. They're up there leaving it all on-stage the same as they would playing for a tiny venue or a huge arena.

No famous western rock bands were harmed during the making of this performance.

勢いとノリが重要な通常のライブとちがってオンラインライブは細かいミスがどうしても目立っちゃう。バンドメイドも初期は苦戦してたけど、最新のオンラインライブは正確さとライブ感を完全に両立させていて、しかもオンラインならではの演出も強化されてて修正力が半端ないなと改めて感動しました！ 特にみんちょは昔はライブによって演奏にムラがあったのに最近はミスらしいミスもなくなったように感じます。すごいなあ

It's almost a year I'm hooked on Band-Maid, and Different was my first hook. With it's punky vibe with fresh ideas, i was in the future and in the past at the same moment.

Misa just slaps the bass as usual. Man, all of them are such beautiful musicians

Excellent Video. These Beautifully Young Talented Ladies are so Musically Superb in their Crafts of Perfection. Band Maid are Destined To Be Legendary Music Artist. Like Such Bands as Pink Floyd. Led Zepplin. and so many other Great Legendary Bands. Band Maids Live songs are Second To None. Absolutely Phenomenal Band.

7 minutes and 30 seconds of pure energy and absolutely impeccable playing. (the other 12 seconds is title cards)

It was only 2 years ago when I didn’t even know these women existed and find myself listening to them everyday, it’s crazy how invested I’ve become with BAND-MAID in such a short span of time and now I don’t think I can imagine my life without them. The only other band I’ve felt this way is with Metallica, but BAND-MAID have made me a lifelong fan in a shorter amount of time. They’re just amazing, I love them.

You are not alone! I found them 4 years ago -- the Thrill video -- and I've been addicted ever since! As you are with Metallica, I am with AC/DC. I can't imagine life now without theses incredible ladies! Got to see them in LA in October 2019. They were fuckin awesome! And so down to earth, too.

@@carlnietoweise4653 It was a gradual change for me, the music in the U.S was starting to sound stale to me, I’ve still been finding good music from here, but for my musical taste it’s become a lot harder. It started with BABYMETAL, I thought it was a little strange at first but when I got over the cutesy nature of it and the language barrier. It started to click with me, on top of that it was catchy as hell. Then I opened up to a whole lot of music from Japan and S. Korea, such as Ningen Isu, X JAPAN, Galneryus, Lovebites and so on. Then these ladies came along and scratched the hard rock itch I’ve been looking for so long.
