Not enough Banana Man animations that are simultaneously goofy AND mildly terrifying. Everyone gets jiggy with the first verse but this song is so much more beyond that silly beginning

There are some fully realized ones out there, but often there's a team behind it, or a huge community around the subject. Idk if you made this with a team, even if you did it's incredible and you did great work and it takes nothing away from the value. "you do not banana all the time" is one of the hardest lines ive ever heard 😔

As far is i can tell the character with 2 differently sized eyes and a crown is the drug dealer. The two we see the mos tof are the main focus but yeah. The guy with a suit and tie is the singer and likely the 'advertizer' for the drugs. All of them go on drugs and advertizer noticably is skydiving at the end without a parachute. Also notice how dealer doesnt have a crown until everyone is dependant on the drugs. furthermore i realize since the advertizer is a puppet from the beginning and only has very brief moments of conciousness

I like how it goes from goofy jokes to actually kinda dark.

I think this song represents love and how when she is gone bro just goes insane (Edit): I believe the main story of this is two people meeting each other lets just call them (blue) and (pink). These two meet each other at a summer party as teens ( hence the craziness of the party.) They start to hang out more with it ending with blue proposing. But as time goes on they start to slip away and it ends with pink dying. Once that happens blue doesn't take that well as he lost everything that makes him happy and free hence "busy town" and starts to go insane with the animation ending with him being homeless looking at past memories. Theory 1: Pink dies in the song. The song starts off with blue and pink married and in the middle part of the song during the craziness we can see frames of Pink dead or gone 2:11. Also at 2:48 we see pink walk away into darkness with blue just frowning as she disappears, Also during this part the song says "I have never left so early" representing dying early in life. After this happens blue goes insane and in the end looks at a photo of them together while being comforted by banana man( whom I will get to later.) In all if this was a divorce we would see and hear more parts of them falling apart which never had been shown before. Theory 2: The beginning of song was blue and pink make believing. In the beginning there were funny stick figures and funny parts including sock puppets and Popsicle sticks. At 1:18 we can even see Pink with the sock puppets, which leads to believe they made the beginning parts along with the announcer and banana man which leads me to my third theory Theory 3: Blue is the Banana Man and the Announcer guy. Announcer is Blue's good parts while Banana man represents his evilness. During 1:15 we can see a shot of what looks like blue but also looks like the banana man. At 2:30 we can also see Blue presenting the announcer as his puppet ( proving theory 2 as well. ) Also blue has the same hair as announcer but has a small piece of hair floating above is head some times like Banana mans crown showing he is both characters but not all the time... Theory 4: The banana Man slowly takes over blue causing him to lose pink. Towards the middle of the song we can see banana man barely in blue with most of him still being announcer and being good. But starting at 1:48 we can start to see banana man take over with announcer trying to stop it but failing. At 2:17 we see announcer choke to death and blue turning into banana man. Next part shows Blue showing off announcer but this time he's with banana man and announcer is only a puppet to him showing banana man fully took over blue ( also blue looks different now ). Next part shows pink fading to darkness and blue going back to his normal self watching what he has done. The rest of the song is just Blue going insane and the only thing he has left is banana man who comforts him as he lost everything. (BTW we don't see the announcer happy or normal for the rest of the song after he chokes ) ( also his older self and time moving forward is represented by his hair growing out ) ( at the end he has a lot of hair and raggy clothes showing he's old and homeless. ) (Edit #2) the moral of the story is that don’t let the worst of you show and don’t give up in dark times even when you have lost all. I hope this won’t be cannon ;) ;)

I randomly found this... at first I thought it was like your normal music kinda video fan thingy. But after watching for a bit longer it's amazing what you've done right here! You've put in many different styles of animation and put them together. I haven't really seen anyone do something like this before, I've always wanted to do something where the animation styles change. This is amazing Good job! No? If we’re assuming the keyboard is built like a real keyboard, the notes played are C, Bb, A, Ab, G But the notes from the actual song are E, Gb, G, Ab, A Realizing as im typing this that it might come off as rude, sorry if thats the case just wanted to make sure there’s no misinformation happening It is as a whole animated very well, tho, even if the piano isn’t perfect (which lets be honest it pretty much never is)

This is genuinely amazing, I love how the animation perfectly portrays how random the song is but still points out its creepy undertones incredibly well

Actually insane. The style is often simple, but you can definitely tell that the person has tons of skill. Mostly since some of the styles are not simple at all, especially when you shift the view point. Sudden 3d and highly detailed 2d are extremely well integrated, both fitting in perfectly with everything else and providing that slight feeling of unease. Loved it. Hope to see more.

Peak in all senses of the word, seeing the gradual improvement and variety was absolutely breath taking, gonna be one of those codes that I keep rewatching and keep noticing more and more

This is that kind of video that you keep getting recommended and then one day you finally click it and you don’t regret it.

your lines are just astonishingly clean, the transitions are just so jarringly GOOD?! the motion of those papers, the silouhettes are just so clean and with such a clear direction, you have a gift. such. nice encapsulation of the chaos an disorder of the song, whatever you do, keep doing it. You will find success wherever you go, the direction and eye you have for this kind of thing is so meticulous.

This switches between animation styles so flawlessly! This guy deserves way more support!

My experiences in Audio/Visual Tech and general video recording and editing is reigniting to this video, and I honestly think a live action version of this would be amazing. Your animation, as everyone else has said, is absolutely majestic.

I love the variety of textures and styles in this! The animation was shockingly smooth, and I really loved it! I felt a sense of creeping dread as the simple, goofy graphics and story slowly morphed into despair that feels existential and what feels like the embodiment of a panic attack [I haven't ever heard the second half of the song lol] and that was also kind of enjoyable... I think? XD This animation somehow feels like how the song should be. It just.... fits absurdly well, and I don't know why. Anyway, lovely transitions, basically everything about this is awesome! I hope the algorithm picks this up soon! ^^
