Not kidding. Good music and you show the food. All these other channels like Mark Weins, All You Can Vegas, Mikey Chen has all become about them and over produced and fake now. They don't show the food anymore. Your channel is great. Don't ever change they style.

Other than the laksa, the dishes you ordered appeared to be more Chinese influenced. Some of the typical Malay dishes will be roti, fish head soup, mi goreng, chicken or beef rendang. I'd suggest to try those next time. Also, Jicama is pronounced Hick-uh-mah.

Yes, I didn't highlight those as much. But I did have the fish head soup (end of the video) but didn't elaborate on it... I also had the Mee Goreng. I really am a little overwhelmed with the number of dishes. But I was under pressure to produce a video because I haven't uploaded in awhile. But I'm looking forward to the next time I try Malaysian food. I hope I get a chance to make a video on Malaysian food again. Thanks for the useful information!

I just discovered yr channel and subscribed. Now binge watching yr vdos. All are excellent, well done in content, narration and film/editing. Yr food reviews are honest, informative and articulate. Keep up the good work! I think yr channel will grow quickly 👍 Also, try the Penang Asam Laksa which does not have coconut milk. Taste is very different from the curry laksa you had. Anthony Bourdain described Penang Asam Laksa as one of the most delicious noodle soups in the world. He had it in Penang. I did too and I agree.

Yes I would say they are similar. But I haven't had either of them often enough to be an expert.

Yes and no. The Malaysian typical laksa has more of a coconut aroma to it while the khao soy in Northern thailand is focused more on the spice. They are VERY similar for those who may not be familiar. Also, khao soy usually have some crackers in it while the Malaysian ones are usually accompanied with bean sprouts, fish cake slices, sometimes hard boiled egg, curry chicken/ steamed chicken/ chicken slices and cockles served rare. btw, Malaysia has about 9 different types of laksa. The one he tried is the most typical one.

Not authentic Malaysia food. But looks great

Banana leaf salad is not Malaysian. Kangkung Belachan & Hainanese chicken chop are very authentic Makaysian.

This restaurant is overrated!
