Bana sungusia; not baja sungusia. Edit and correct. This band and the one that does kirwanda songa lead in all these live performances. In fact, sungusia scores 90% followed by kirwanda at 78%. Why? Sungusia instrumetalists are on point, vocal timbres can compete with the luo music quality( the voices are sonorous with a rich tone color), the compositions are done well with catchy melodies that use kisii benga beats and have originality. For kirwanda junior: nice melodies and well composed songs, the voices arent sonorous and their timbre is fair. They can do better than that. Kindly insist on the kisiis to stick to their original beats and perfect them rather than infusing kamba, luo, luhya elements that make them lose identity. The guaitarists should learn to use sythesizers more so in the climax to embelish the performances. Other than sungusia and kirwanda, the other bands have gaps in their harmonies( voice one and 2 harmonies are pathetic) To me, sungusia and kirwanda deserve more support to give the kisii music and identity so that the other bands can learn from them. I used to despise the sungusia band after it restarted some years ago but as we speak, they are somewhere. Nyagwoka also tried at 77% but sungusia infuses rhumba and seben to the kisii beats that makes the music attractive and more modern. Finally, this harmony studio understands their work. The voices are balanced, the music sounds better than the original recorded one. Kudos.
