Obelisk players tributing Obelisk for Obelisk gets the meme in practice but not in spirit.

Why on earth did the editor focus on Farfa's face at 4:23 when the animation is the most inportant thing on the screen SMH

One thing I would like for LCS S2 is if instead of archetype bans we focused on more specific cards. That way, decks like elemental heroes can see multiple waves of play until we get to the point of flame wingman beatdown, and others don't get punished as hard for having a single good card in the archetype that's better when splashed into other decks. The most recent banlist that looked at powerful staples in each topping deck as well as the archetypes was a good showing of that

it’s a good idea but it would make it a heck of a problem to create the banlist, to test for it, and to validate players are not using illegal cards

Aamazing idea, would make for some actual showcase of "which archetype is broken vs which specifi archetypal card is broken", and it would also wash out all of the broken generic degenerate cards first, and then allowing archetypes to show what they can do without those but like the 1st reply said, kinda hard to track something like that, maybe not in the first couple of episodes, but later down the line absolutely

I can’t believe I actually managed to WIN THE ENTIRE THING when I winners banned the link 2, all previous aroma players had to have been garbage with how many entered. Also, this was my first playing aroma EVER, I’m built different and everyone else who played this deck were crying baby’s. Krebons has a 100% finals winrate in the Last Card Standing btw :)

@@_Prismadollclockwork night, the card was gatekeeping a bunch of cards just by changing types and the 1000 attack difference actually comes up when you can’t just make accesscode to win the game, seeing it be activated against me in finals was the last straw lol

Imagine if equipped pendulum monsters counted as scales in the correct zones, Relinquished plays could be nuts to steal an opponents monster for a necessary scale.

a nice addition would be icons of the decks that are dueling as the replays happen and how much of it was represented. I wanna hava an idea of the deck that are facing even just for the fun of it

Assuming season 2 is a complete banlist reset, might want to increase the amount of generic bans per round. Like one generic extra deck; generic spell card; trap card; and main deck monster per week.

These last 2 games were so good, wow!

I have a Valkyrie deck, and I must say, seeing their famous Ride/Michief OTK strategy work without a hitch made me tear up with pride/ They did so well!

That Hieratic/Dragon Link game was nutty

14:45 I mean, the Valkyrie cards likely have anti dragon effects because of their connections to the mythology of Sigurd the dragon slayer.

OH i have another idea for season 2: instead of banning the whole archetype when it tops you ban the highest rarity cards of that archetype (unless its something like kaiju or paleo that are just genericly too good and dont care about UR cards then you ban the rarity that will hurt it). for example if swordsoul tops you ban all UR swordsoul cards, if it tops again you ban all SR swordsoul cards. that way the deck would get worse over time without just killing it immediately so we could see what people come up with to try to top with it again. maybe we will see taia and blackout in some decks that just happen to play wyrms as an engine or something like that.

My idea: instead of banning the archetypes that make it to the end, simply reduce the number of allowable copies of each individual card that makes it to the end by the number of copies

I'd like the Finals to be best of 3 and maybe be more lenient on the bans, instead of banning an entire archetype just Thanos snap them I know it's more work on your end Farfa, but it's not more work on mine :)

i agree with comments saying instead of banning the whole archype for the crimes of some of the cards that are used for engines etc., just ban the most problematic cards of that engine, like instead of banning all adventure cards just ban dracoback and rite or something like that. that way the engine version wouldnt work anymore but we could see some pure adventure decks.

This series was amazing but it is somewhat disappointing to have to go through the same process of re-banning all the best archetypes again. Maybe for season 2, the initial banned archetypes could be much more thorough, and ban more staples each week?

11:57 - Honestly, that just gave me an idea - wouldn't it be neat to be able to "craft" spells/traps in a duel? Where you'd essentially fuse several spells and/or traps (either by game mechanic or through other cards) to craft what you need. Would definitely help unbrick you. Maybe even fuse some monsters with spells to make pendulums or so.

No that means very little fun, because powerfull things are fun.

My only criticism for the LCS on youtube at least were the thumbnails. They were all generic and the same as the rest of your videos and even the titles didnt say LCS in them. For season 2 it would be cool to see a small banner or theme of some sort so i dont accidentally miss out

Please don't be that aggressive with the zoom-in editing, like here 01:08, 01:30, 02:10, being able to see the whole field is much more relevant, the game shows popups images of the cards already anyway.
