@@Earnyourranks yup, can switch 1-5 and slide with the best of them, move like oversized wings, enormous wingspans, large frames. Truly breathtaking just watching a human that big move so cordinated and quickly. I think Jaren Jackson JRcould also be in this conservation someday but he has massive foul problems which leads him not be able to play a whole game but combination of quickness, size & length have a lot of upsides(basically built like an inch taller AD with an inch less in wingspan) but he's still a raw and developing young player.

Yup it was a pre season game I’m a heat fan. Great video. About time bam gets the recognition he deserves
My question is what about Giannis? He can do everything Bam can do defensively and I’ve been a heat fan all my life 🤷🏽♂️

You raise a good point, but I personally think Bam is more versatile. Giannis sometimes shy's away from playing defense on the best player (mostly due to conserving energy). Also his defence against beast 5's like Jokic and Embiid isn't as good as Bam's, he can hold his own but Bam can stop them.
Bam is a more athletic Draymond on both defense and offense. His basketball IQ isn't as high but it's almost there. Just like Draymond he's the captain of the defense and the main playmaker on offense.

yea, also I would say he is more timid on defense than Draymond. Afraid to get as physical because he doesnt want tp get called for a foul

@@Earnyourranks OG is an interesting one. Do you agree Kawhi hasn’t been at his defensive peak since around 2017 (pre-injury)? Also unrelated but how is a mobile big type (eg Draymond) different to Bam, wouldn’t you classify Bam as a mobile big? I found that a lil confusing, but nevertheless great content and really broke it down well

@@redman6790 yea agreed his defense has fallen off, in his return year with the Raptors it was still at an elite level but he started taking breaks to be more effective on the offensive end. With the Clippers its really pick and choose but when he locks in it is amazing. I guess by definiton you can classify Bam as a mobile big but I see him as more of a jack of all trades defender. For example Draymond he's mobile but you really don't want him guarding the perimeter or being isolated against a big center, he can definitely hold his own but hes most effective being a help defender, floating around. With Bam you don't really care if he's guarding the rim, perimeter, etc. He can do anything, basically all the archetypes in one, that's how I see it. But I do see your point both can be classfied as mobile big or jack of all rade defender, guess it depends on your definition and how you view it. Also thanks for the feedback, means alot!
