The Orioles start a seven-game road trip with a three game series starting tonight at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The Cardinals, after a disappointing 2023, were hoping to be contenders in what appeared to be a wide open race in the NL Central this season, but have gotten off to another tough start, enterting this series six games under .500. However, they have won their past two series in the past week, taking two out of three against the Red Sox and Angles. We will be thier third straight AL opponent. Baltimore, now testing their first pass through a six-man rotation, will turn to Dean Kramer, while the Cards will have their ace who they acquired as a big signing this winter, ex-Twin Sonny Gray. Due to a variety of reasons and unexpected circumstances, this former staff writer for the Premier League gets to return to his original passion, starting his own project - covering Orioles baseball all season long.
