When the young never experienced what normal life was living in Baltimore in the 1950's , 1960's, 1970's ,1980's and early 1990's they missed out on how great the city was to visit. great and live in.

Brings back some memories .I used to walk around down there but have not done that since 2016 .

Why would anyone do that?Just like why would anyone walk around Southside Chicago- or downtown Los Angeles at night? All cities have bad areas that people avoid

I don't know why this city is regarded as one of the most dangerous cities in the USA. It looks so calm, silent and perfect for everybody wanting to see something a bit more different and interesting!

Every city has bad parts to it - Baltimore is no different. Contrary to what the media portrays - Much of the city is beautiful and vibrant. Everyone knows to avoid the parts of the city that is plagued with gangs and drugs.

That's not brave, you're just being condescending towards a city you never even visited. I walked through Baltimore tons of times, and never ran into any trouble. The city isn't as bad as you think it is, it even has many good parts as well as ugly parts.

@@el-karasu6070Same - grew up in this region - Baltimore has so much to offer that so many people have no idea about, bc of the way it’s portrayed in the media. Me and my friends always just laugh about it. I’ve taken so many people to the city who have never been to Baltimore - and their reactions are always all the same. They can’t believe how different it is, compared to what it has been perceived to them in the media. Sure there are bad parts of the city - It’s common knowledge to avoid those neighborhoods - just like south side Chicago, parts of New Orleans, downtown Los Angeles, NYC, and so on… and so on…

Glad you weren't murdered by a squeegy kid!

Bring a bodyguard with you when you go to Baltimore too many idiots running the streets.
