soooo balming tiger is a musical collective! they consist of musical artists, producers and even video directors. and to explain the song a little bit: it's about how person's charisma and sexiness can't be bought. it doesn't come from luxuries or financial status. and the lyrics are mockery yet flirty heh (and feel very bisexual for some reason).

makes sense because the members of balming tiger are very gender fluid in their expression in clothing and style of music which fits namjoon because this is his style of music, ever since he was in the underground as well. though he developed, this was a good reflection of RM mixtape namjoon. also he's sort of been a writer with more leaning on gender fluid writing style, especially like with bts, much of his later work has little to no gender usage. like his first ever writing credit was for party xoxo which was for a gg called glam and his verse was about a woman crushing on another woman. its very perfect and sexy nukim is just so damn amazing.

I definitely agree with the comment about bts members overshadowing the artists they collab with. I usually wait for the members to come in but in this song everyone had my attention. I'm glad RM collabed with them so we can learn about such great artists

When Rm collaborated with Wale, bts was small and Wale fans or hiphop fans came to know about bts more. It happens with every artists

the baseline in this song is crazy so is the chorus and the flow of respective rappers. i usually dislike mumbling rappers but these dudes are really good. among k-artists, balming tiger is pretty underrated. they never had collab with any other artists before namjoon cuz they thought their music is not properly understood by the others. but when namjoon sent his verse, they instantly love it cuz Joon portrayed it in his own style without overwhelming or underwhelming their music. this is a good song.

As an underground rapper RM knows different styles of musicians. RM always share the artists who are not famous like them but they are talented musicians. I love that about him. He always share it in IG. Other members do that too. Because of RM I came to know so many talented people and I listen to them in Spotify. It's cool that they support the music than spotlight. So humble. This collab was a masterpiece. Their unique styles make it a great work.

Not main stream but people who actually want to be a true artist as making music this would be pretty good example of it. There were artists like this in America not afraid to say and do without boundaries as far as trying to perfect their artistry. Ive watched & listened to this so much & every time Mudd the student (2nd rapper) part was so interesting to me , the most probably, 2nd fav part. Rm is my first, might be biased but as a fan of BTS & his rap and his style this was impressive to me. How well he fit with Balming tiger who themselves said that that no one really understands their music & style yet they were impressed when RM sent his verse. That might sound confusing, cause I also think RM rap wasn’t out of the world, especially compared to his other ones, but they meant that as in how he fit in so well to their style without being overwhelming or underwhelming. Really Impressive and so happy this collab happened. Personally never heard of Balming tiger, heard it wasn’t like a kpop group or anything, sort of like a group of producers and stuff, not completely sure. But this was so fire and I completely understand why RM collabed with them for sure 🔥
