I think Kathy needed someone else to know because it was also too much for her to handle. She needed to say for her own mental health as well.

Hopefully Phil doesn't say "Men can't be raped" and instead actually does something useful and supports his son.

@@CammyTheSportsEntertainer As far as I'm concerned that's not supporting. Supporting a person means being close to him even when he kicks you out. Phil never had the ability to do that. In fact, whenever Ben needed his father, Phil, he pushed him away ... Sure beating Lewis is justified, and I think it's also the only way Phil knows to be "close" to his son, even if what Ben needs is psychological support, not solve the problem.

Phil will definitely design something for Lewis. I think it's the only way I know to be near her son. The only problem: Ben doesn't need a solution to the problem. Even if Lewis ends up being beaten to death, Ben does not need the "solution to the problem", but he does need psychological support that Phil (or Kathy as far as I'm concerned), they are not able to give to Ben ... Ben needs help, from a person specialized in dealing with this kind of trauma ... Relatives and friends do not have the right tools to do it, even if they have gone through the same trauma. The only real solution is professional help ...

@@Marie-cw8vp Phil is a violent man, since Ben was little, instead of talking, Phil solved Ben's problems with violence (when the problems were with adults), look when the day when, Phil was about to marry Stella, when Ben's storyline was about the child being physically abused by the evil stepmother ... what does Phil do instead of calling the police and having her arrested? He chases her until Stella decides to throw herself into the void. Phil knows no other way to be close to children. Violence is the world Phil grew up in. You can't deny it.

For the only person who can convince Ben has to seek help, or be Lexi, I didn't mean that physically convinces him to seek help ... Ben wants to self-destruct right now, we've all seen that, but Ben has a responsibility to his daughter , being a good father, being present in her life and supporting her as her father never did, only this in my opinion will convince him to ask for help.

Okay I am going to get a lot of people disagreeing with me but Kathy was wrong to tell Phill. It's up to Ben who he tells and when. Lewis took control away from Ben that night and now Kathy has taken Ben control over who knows away from him. I really like how the writers are portraying this storyline really I am but I hate almost every scene with Kathy at the moment because to me she is not letting Ben heal in his own dam time seriously
