I guess the reason we don’t really see Callum onscreen anymore is because he’s busy with his second and potentially third job to deal with the finances now that Ben has sold The Arches 😂

"I think Callum is going to be the character that doesn't show up in tomorrow's scene" And unfortunately, I was right. They keep erasing the character. It doesn't even seem like Callum was Lola's friend and that he is part of Lexi's life (she has even referred to the character as her dad). It doesn't even seem like he is part of the family. The character isn't even mentioned.

I agree. Bad writing. Callum keeps being marginalized. Maybe the writers don't like him! He's treated like an extra, an adjunct to Ben's storylines.

@@nesa2000 Yes. Sometimes I think they only keep the character for Ben's sake. The character is always left out or poorly written. It seems that they see that his only function is to worry about Ben.

That’s it Im done! I initially started watching this show for the Ben and Callum story but it’s turned into the Ben show and it’s unrealistic. For Ben not to have his husband by his side at a time like this and BS about Callum working cops have family leave benefits

Just hope Callum absence is momentary,if not,well, without Callum EE no more to me... obviously my humble and personal opinion...

Ben is her dad and so Is Jay, he loves her like his own, there's more to being a family than just blood you know. Jeez it's 2023, people can identify as objects but a man that wants to be in a child's life isn't her dad 🤦‍♀️ open your mind!

Noticed Ben was a bit but out when Lexi huged jay and not him.

Ohhh they’re doing all of this to destroy Jay when things don’t go though You see them taking time to have Ben look all vaguely annoyed during Lola’s “important” gift giving thing. 🙄 as if that’s necessary lol. Ngl I ain’t even mad Callum wasn’t included in such cheaply tossed together scenes. LOLA deserves better than /this/.

Does everything have to be about Callum in the comment section. I mean yeah he was friends with Lola but that was mostly due to him being with ben. Like your overeating.

He is her daughter's stepfather. Last year, she tried to help him and Ben get back together. And she called Callum to go see Lexi's pageant, and when he said it would be uncomfortable, she said he had to be there because he was family. She, Jay, Ben, and Callum have always been close.

Obviously Callum’s role in Lexi’s and Lola’s lives has been important to them and to him. Leaving him out of this scene doesn’t make sense.

I don’t think anyone expects Callum to get say /over/ jay because obv Lola wanted jay to have say in this. But people do expect others outside of /just/ ben and jay to be there to help Lexi - especially people like Billy Callum and honey.

I'm guessing because it's quite jarring that he's not being mentioned at all. Lola was quite adamant that Callum was important in Lexi's life and that she and Callum were still friends even when he and Ben were broken up. With so much conversation the last few days about who is taking care of Lexi now, it seems super weird that he isn't being mentioned at all. How did they go from Lexi calling Callum "Dad 2" to his being completely left out of all parenting conversations?

The look Ben has when Jay reads the message Lola left him. Am i missing something or did they get mixed up. Since whrn did Lola think Ben as her husband
