Ballston, OR Surprise GCS Model 3 Activation, Attack

Got a very loud notice that this thing isn’t actually inactive after all! I had been told years ago by the Sheridan Fire District that this GCS was no longer used, however when I was there today, not 20 seconds after I had stepped out of the car to get what I thought were going to be only photos, tones came through the radio in the station and this thing wound to life. Very nice to have another active pin on the Oregon siren map now. On this trip I also got a new video of the Dallas STH-10, which I’ll upload later.

That is awesome! Glad to see another active siren in the state!
hella awesome man! (p.s. a lot has been happening with Carnations system in the past half a year now like the entire system not testing, thanks federal employee for that false alarm back in march!)

@@Egress. yeah, pretty disappointing, the Thunderbolt also had a pathway cut to its gate when I checked up on location 6 the other day... surprised their still standing too! although washington thinks the bolts prooobably getting removed soon..

@@Egress. it's not confirmed, but I sent washington (@CentralWASirensAuto) a photo of it and pointed out the path cut out in the vines to him and he said it's probably coming down soon.
