LOVE this layout!! PERFECT size for downsizing retirees!! The ONLY changes I would make for OUR needs is to put a walk-in pantry where the laundry room is now and put the laundry in the garage. Also, I would put in double sinks in the master bathroom.

Downsizing & this is the perfect house for me!!!! That walk in closet is the best!!!! Lots of room for living space & kitchen!!!! Gonna be looking into this plan!

I've been on the fence about barndos but I really like this one. I'm single all my kids are grown and out on their own so this would be perfect. I really like everything about this one from the floor plan the garage Etc

That's the best house I've ever seen on KZread gives you a nice kitchen. Decent size living space whoever designed app knew what they were doing I don't seem to find that on any videos on KZread hats off to you guys

Very nice! I like black & white, but not the tired grays. I am done with that. The garage is only "2 car" for a pair of Smart car. lol I plan to do something very similar, but 100x the garage.

I would be happy to come out to Texas, and sell that property for you. It’s beautiful it’s nice. This video is an apology the whole way through. Why apologize. It’s a beautiful property. Do not apologize for a small house. Did I mention that? I don’t think you should be coming across apologetic? Beautiful home fairly priced.

Is it stick build or is it the metal square tube steel?

My first home had one of those built-in desks. Absolute biggest waste of space. I'd get rid of that & use that space for more pantry. I'd also rather have a woodstove than that gas stove. I also don't care for the gray/black theme. I"d rather do warm earth tones...but, otherwise, a perfect size for me now that I'm by myself.

How much…don’t skip the most important feature…..skipping the electric, plumbing costs.

Cost of material fluctuates too much this day, and greatly depends on region. That’s why most of these barndo builds do not disclose price.

What about the full laundry room? Where was it, why did you skip it? We have been looking into building a Barndo, and I try to watch as many as I can to see what we really want versus what we need. This was the first one of your tours…not sure I will watch anymore. You where busy showing what “you like” instead of showing the whole house.

This is a smaller barndo so the laundry area is in the hallway with the small desk area. It don’t have a washer and dryer in there yet so you might have missed it. You should check out the Barefoot Barndo video we made. It has an amazing laundry/storage room.

It's the "turned into a home" part that's going to get you. Foundation, interior, water/sewer, electric, hvac, inspections, plans, etc, etc, etc, can take a $12,000 shell, to $275,000 really quick. 😢
