she looks amazing and what's even more appealing is that she isn't stick thin. she is still skinny and superfit but she doesn't look as if she's going to snap under her own weight like some dancers sometimes do. sofiane sylve is another dancer who has an AMAZING body without being sickly thin, young dancers should look up to ballerinas like this and realise skinny doesn't mean better dancer! thanks for posting this! surely she isn't in the corps any longer?

Худому легче танцевать, меньше мешает двигаться и линии многие красивее, когда худая балерина, не говоря уже о том, что партнёру спину не сорвёт своим легким весом!
Bravo Kolia... you believed in her abilities when others at Bolshoi were telling you that Paquita variation was too much for her. You took her under your wing and were her guardian angel. You knew this sweet girl is a gem when other dismissed her.
Love very rare clip of Nikolai as Carabosse, he danced it after his horrible injury in 2004 when he couldn't do the jumps yet.

@yaboko She is Angelina Vorontsova, recent graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, prize winner at the Moscow International Ballet Competition and corps de ballet member with the Bolshoi, if I am not mistaken. :) She is so gorgeous!
Something I greatly wish we saw more of as typically dancers at this weight range have longer careers due to being less injury prone and generally are healthier in ever other respect as well including mentally/emotionally....at least in my experience anyway.
@tutus4life i just commented more or less the same thing about her physique. she looks so healthy, which is so nice to see :)

Angelina is fabulous I'm so glad she's not a stick figure with perfect technique. I'd much rather see someone like her with personality and artistry who looks like they actually enjoy dancing. But sheesh that orchestra sounded horrible!
