This only John and Paul on all instruments. John later thanked Paul for assisting on this track by giving him a writing credit on Give Peace A Chance. John on acoustic and electric guitar, Paul on bass, piano and drums.

Not bad, but the "George Harrison" riffs were played by John Lennon. John and Paul are the only ones that played on this record. Paul played bass, drums and maracas. John played both guitar parts.

Wonderful video. I was wondering what kind of pedal or sound effect you would recommend for the lead guitar?

The sound of the lead is just the guitar straight into the amp, if you really wanted to use something you could just use a clean boost (something like an MXR Micro amp). Neither George Harrison nor Ringo Starr was present during the recording of this track. Only John Lennon and Paul McCartney play all the instruments and preform vocals on this song.
