The series aired successively over the CBS, ABC, and NBC networks, consistently attracted 16 million viewers to each episode, and won more than 65 awards, including nine Emmys and two Peabody awards.

    I've sung Tabor. I LOVE this opera. It has heart, rage, joy, fervor. pain, and yes LOVE. I consider this a masterpiece of art.

    No words to convey the magnificence of this performance. Watching these two great singing actors. I also have no words to express my thanks for these clips. Ms. Copeland is obviously crying during her final moments --- and so was I. Golden age TV at its very best . Thank you thank you thank you.
