I'm an older guy who didn't start learning Guitar till I was permanently disabled in a Motorcycle accident when I was 52 years old, I was a Carpet layer for the 30 + yrs prior to that so I have very stiff and arthritic hands, I admitted to myself day 1 that I was never going to be Eddie VanHalen , so Practice and get good at the stuff I can manage to play 1st, like this ,. It's Beautiful or Cavatina ( The theme from " The Deer Hunter ) I'm 58 now and doing quite well I'm being told by friends both younger and older that also play, I live for pieces like this ,GREAT JOB MAN, Keep 'em coming Thanks The Old Dudes . . . .

We are very similar only I was an auto mechanic I'm 59 been playing about 10 yrs now.I am also disabled. I have many physical problems.If we play good enough to make ourselves smile. That's enough. Cheers Rock on.

Me thinks you’re right, extremely similar, but I guess at some point all the notes available to be played will have been played and so we start again at the beginning and copyright infringement law suits will abound.

I just adopted a Doberman/ Pit bull. As soon as she heard this she came over and is insisting on sitting in my lap. I’ve only had her a couple hours, so I’m not going to tell her no. I think I picked the right dog!

This gave me chills, it's so emotional and inspiring. I've realized my solos sound robotic and "scaley" so I'm trying to play more soulfully. This is a prime example of what I'd like to achieve. Beautiful.

I really don't like practicing arpeggios but throughout my playing, I am slowly incorporating them into my playing. Panos is the brother of my heart because he inspires me to play clean as well as fast.
