The tritium tubes should be good for about 20-25 years. To my understanding, at that time, rather than replace the tubes, Ball’s practice is to replace the entire dial. If the tubes were only good for ten years, that round be a major letdown. That life span has forced me to pass on a couple of these which which I figure could be approaching twenty years old by now. Cool watch regardless

I bought one but it makes a loud sounds inside when winding, its like a loose metal spinning inside though, does yours make the same noise?

I can confirm it is gorgeous. Bought mine from Watches of Switzerland in Singapore, with a super good price. Just fits perfectly, not too thick and is stunning to see and look at. No other watch matches the long indices out there. Gnomon watches have the unique red second hand, but it is more expensive and I was not ready for this (small) eccentricity yet. But both versions are beautiful (and the lumes, it is just such as a good idea for prolonged low light exposure like in a long flight). Price is just unbeatable. Highly recommended !

I really love the history behind this company. I am curious as to what happens after 10-12 yrs and you need the tubes replaced. Can any watch maker do so ?

Camera cant catch the Lume as it is tritium, when in full dark or even low darkness it glows like a torch! Trust me I have one and it lasts all the time , it just can’t be captured on video due to the light
