Balkan Raid Ep. 9 - Jimny Overland in Montenegro and Albania

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is the epilogue of the trip. We left the kapetanovo lake and went exploring the area, but got stucked on a cliff. Thank god we had a Garmin inReach Mini that let us call an sos. We then went to albania, where we spent the last couple nights before going back home.

I really loved the series! I bought my own Jimny recently and I want to outfit it for road trips. It would be cool if you could give me a detailed overview about your equipment you use and the experience you gained. Like what to look out for and what to avoid. What kind of rooftent do you use? With how much roof weight is it still comfortable to drive? Have you fitted div lockers? I hope for more videos to come, I really enjoyed them. I wish you good and save trips in the future.

Hello there! Just curious on how you manage your fuel given the long drives.. do you have a Long Range Tank installed in the Jimny? Great video. Cheers!

anyway, that road over Moračka planina is going nowhere - just to those few folds down in the canyon. Usually I'm stopping at that small flat place visible at 1:08, sleep there and then climb up to the peaks at left side.

for example I'm not using fridge at all for Balkan trips max I'll take thermobox and if some snow around, I'll put some inside. Cost nothing, works always. dryed salama in vacuum plastic bags/packets can stay more than week, same with cheese. fresh bread stays for 2-3 days, it is easy to buy there everywhere very cheap. vegetables also can stay in thermobox 2-3 days without problems...and it is enough...is also possible to buy fresh almost everywhere and for critical situations - some pasta + conserved meal = no fridge
