First, hopefully you can make it kasi they change the policy by Jan 2024 about a student applicant with a dependent. If you do, you hopefully you get employed agad. Now, norms here sa pagkuha ng employer ay 2 ang kailangan nila. A worker that can work full time of 38 hrs a week at local work experience. Ang local driving license is also a big factor. Never expect that your experience sa Phils will be accepted here. I always wish for the best sa pagsasapalaran ng ating mga kababayan. It will a tough road ahead. Take note: if your wife is more than 32 yrs old at mag-aaral . Maiiba na ang patakaran dito by Jan 2024. Bawal na ang pagkatapos ng isang course ay lilipat naman ng ibang course or after na mag finish ng course ay kukuha ng graduate visa for 2 years. Ang person na more than 35 yrs old ay hindi maaaprove ng grad visa. Plan well on this big change. Wish for the better.

It's in the hands of the department case officer if he allows you to downgrade to electrotechnology certificate III from a bachelor degree graduate with license. Worth trying. My assistant is taking a Masteral Course kasi graduate sya ng EE at REE rin. But let say you made it to take the course. Let's look at the road ahead. 1. You need to get employed to an electrical company to complete the course. 2. Course will take 2.5 years to finish Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician 3. You will get your Certificate but you can not apply for license kasi you have no experience. Your day 1 experience as electrician is ONLY after you acquire the certificate III. Anything before that is not considered a working experience. 4. You will be looking for a business sponsor so you can stay...or get a graduate visa valid for 2 years only. In these 2 years, you are looking for employer to give you experience or hopefully to sponsor you. WARNING: Labour market is very tight now and will be tighter in the future. 5. If your graduate visa ends, that's it...you go home. 6. Another if you get a business sponsor, you can not apply for Practical Assessment for migration because you need at least 3 years experience as an electrician. Recommended Plan: a. Get an engineering experience in the Philippines or abroad. Preferably SOLAR. Documents everything you do for the next three years. or if have the chance, look for sponsor in AU if your experience is in SOLAR or Renewables. b. save money for the application process. c. Apply for permanent migration visa 189 or via 190 as an engineer. Good Luck.

Hard to refer. Normally now, there's a local electrician within the area who are contractors as well.

Hello. Hindi ako migration agent but from 482 , you got an option 186 or 190 or 189 or 887 or 191, which are permanent resident at nasa list of eligible skilled occupation. Therefore, dadaan ka for MSA. www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/programs/migration-skills-assessment

Hi. Thnxs for the interest. Based on my experiences in hiring our kababayan, which I want to give them a career , but their plans were different. I am now very strict to hire someone. Requirements: (1) Presently here in Australia as permanent resident (2) Starting pay after 3 months is $30-$38 per hour permanent depending to experience (3) With NSW drivers License (4) Can work unsupervised (5) Car is provide + mobile phone (5) working 8 hours a day. If you want to come to Australia, get more years of experience as an engineer. Then, apply for visa 189. Electrician path is very tough and long years ahead for training, qualification, skill asessment and visa application + waiting time. Remember: You're upbringing and exposure is EE not Electrician. They are two different category here. An EE are not allowed even to change a power outlet or run a cable here.. electricians can.

SI Nestor, nung dumating rito ay mayroon pang workers shortage visa kaya nagkaroon syan ng chance to extend. For those coming overseas, very rare na kumuha ng electrical assistant from overseas. Mahaba at mahal ang process. In the end, i-train mo pa and soon aalis rin kapag narito na. It's really a gamble for employer.

Check mo muna ang plan mo... maraming factor toher than practical assessment - that process alone will cost you around $2,000. Hindi pa kasa ang airplane ticket, accomodation, application fee. Once pumasa ka, kukuha ka ng gap training para ma-complete and Certificate II in electrotechnolgy electrician that will cost around $7.000. Once na nakuha mo na ang Cert III, no need n ang 4 years unfinished course mo sa Pinas...kasi qualified ka na rito. Take note: This is the process for skilled migration...it's not employment but qualification. Plan Well. Get more Information. Mahaba ang process at paghihintay... ALl the BEst.

If your target is to migrate, yest there is at 44 yrs old. But if you are in Australia, walang age limit. Yung korean apprentice ko ay 42 yrs old na ng mag-decide to change career.

The course is $30 k for the duration. Check mo ang website ng Suoerior Training Centre. But, study and plan well muna. Mahigpit na ngayon at to be an electrician at PR ay mahabang process and nakakainip.

It's about migration to Australia. Employment is much much harder for electrician. Ang rules kasi rito ay different pati standard of practice.
