I only know about balik pulau from my ex colleague who was from Penang. She had many times bought for me d delicious sweet pickled fruit that she got from pasar balik pulau, it was very cheap, d mango pickle just cost around RM5 per kilo. Those same picke when reach in KL will cost more than RM10 per kilo but that was 15 years ago.

We still get so surprised when seeing the size of your breakfasts over there! They look so delish and so fulling haha Wow, those fruits are so exotic to us. We haven't tried many of them. I didn't know cinnamon grows in trees, and I love cinnamon, wow!! The views are to die for. You guys can get lost in that apartment hahaha, we are so accustomed to small places that we get fascinated by spaces like this one. Can you imagine us in a house?

Hi, I have always enjoyed your videos and will be heading to Georgetown in 2 weeks time. I like to know how you get around the places in a day besides walking to nearby places for visits. Do you rent a car for your visits? Tks

  • @PuriandSue

Hi. For this trip, we drove our car around Penang. It's easier to get around Balik Pulau with your own transport. Alternatively, you could hire a tour for a day trip around the Island. For getting around Georgetown, taking Grab would be the most convenient way to get around. There's also a free bus service called CAT that stops at most of the attractions in the Georgetown. Hope this helps 😊 Have a fantastic trip ahead!
