At first, I wasn't sure about the added roleplay aspects that you did for the characters, but I really got into the further along into the video I got. It really felt like an actual DnD campaign!

THIS, I've only watched one gameplay with roleplay and it was pretty good and after seeing this comment i gave the whole video a chance and i got SO INTO IT, Lefty's sensible spot about his reading abilities really sold it to me 😂

I love how, five minutes in, you're just walking around Wyll, trying to find a way to get three more warlocks in your party. If only there was some way to get another warlock to make things easier.

lol yeah, I started this series really soon after bg3 was released and decided not to use any origin characters so it wasn’t very spoiler-y.

This is the kind of BG3 content I want to see: Someone fully getting into the roleplay and designing a story for the character(s) they invent. Wonderful video, the different plots were all excellently done

The playthroughs on the hub are better!

You have to be level 3 to get Withers to offer you Hirelings, which might be why the game decided to get borked to the Hells and back.

Usually I don't have the attention span to watch 2 hour videos but man, the story of this party had me HOOKED. The confrontation between Pinky and Bonk, and then Bonk using his wish to help Pinky? Lefty's whole arc? The Betrayal of Jack and also his whole arc??? (i was so glad when omelum saved him) This is the great stuff

i absolutely adore the roleplaying type of challenges! You could do one where you all play bards? Idk i just loved this one so much. The romance-ish thing between pinky and bonk was so cute, and the betrayel of lefty the manager??? AAAA and poor jack didn't get the love of his life...but he still did the right thing and never let it get to him. Peak fiction right here

I love the whole RP commentary made this video worth watching, I'm currently doing my solo playthrough of a Spore Duel Wielding crossbow Hunter.

Do it with paladins then there can be an ancient, devotion, vengeance and an oathbreaker

hilariously, i think the save file breaking down by the end kind of fits the narrative? also it's funny and indicative of how hard you worked on the series since it took so much time and energy to put out and i can only assume the root cause is a bunch of updates that were meant to fix things but for you, eh, not so much

this has inspired me to do an all custom character playthrough; something I would've never even considered before now

This is honestly my favorite video of yours. For me the best aspect of most games is the role playing aspect. I absolutely love creating characters, backstories, motivations, and trying to get into the heads of what my character would do in certain situations. So to have a whole video doing just that was great :)

The Divinity music overlaid on the Creche massacre was peak. I can practically hear Malady screaming over the chaos.

This was such an amazing video to watch. It was legitimately a movie. I watched it over the course of 2 nights, just wondering what would happen next between the characters. I never expected what would happen.

This story turned out to be touching, with a wonderful ending! I really liked the minor changes of lore, which made the plot more personal (for example, the contract with Raphael). It's a pity that you had to go through so many bugs, but I'm impressed with your drive and ingenuity. This video totally deserves the word MOVIE in the title.

It's probably the best main character class can't change em out so half rests for spells is great especially early game. Then you can go into sorcerer or fighter whichever way you want to lean.

Fun fact: the 3 ogres at 17:12 can actually be convinced to be allies for a few fights, since one of them has enhanced intelligence. I got them to help me during my raid of the goblin camp.

This works in Divinity Original Sin 2, and I assume it'd work in this game as well, but you can actually start with a party of custom characters in single player if you just force multiple instances of the game to open, then run your main game in multiplayer mode, and get your other instances to join and make their own characters, then leave once you begin the game. Alternatively, if you just want two custom characters, I think splitscreen co-op would work too if you have a controller for it. I've never actually used hirelings in these games in my life.

about the quests not being progressed/the game not realising you have the necessary items in your inventory + dammon randomly being dead at last light inn: i had the same thing !! it got to a point where i couldn't dig up a dirt mound even when the entire party had a shovel and the entire save file was just kinda lost. i'm not sure if you're running any specific mods (sorry if you mentioned it maybe or will mention it throughout the video! i'm not entirely through yet) but i had a few, including improvedUI and that one needed an update after a recent patch from larian and THAT was causing the issues for me. not sure how if it's the same in your case but it drove me mad, so maybe the advice helps anyone coming across! :)

Can you do Bard next ? especially if you and all your companion only allowed to use Vicious Mockery as the way to damage enemy. No shoving, no throwing, no damage arrow. Long rest, short rest, darkness, smoke arrow and potion are allowed. Movement spell and skill are allowed Can you beat the game as a trash talker ? 😂

I wish they would have put ALL the subclass into the game. Especially the Psi subclases! but if we had the other warlocks this could work. especially with the hexblade and celestial taking up the melee tank and healer departments.
