In animal form, many talents and actions cannot be done until you resume humanoid form again.

Here's a couple of tips that might help. Healing word is a bonus action, so you can use an attack or spell then cast a heal the same round. If an item on your hotbar is greyed out then you don't have the resources (action, bonus action or spell slot) to use it. If you are close enough to an ally then you can throw a potion on the ground in between you and heal both. There will be a colored outline around the characters to indicate who it will effect. Open your inventory, right-click on the potion and select throw. Short rests will restore hit points but not spell slots, so long rest when you get low on spells. Going to camp and long resting also triggers story events, so do it often. If you are in a tough fight then don't hesitate to burn spell slots, you can long-rest after. That means Ice Knife for you and Gale and Guiding Bolt for Shadowheart. Stop casting low damage cantrips against enemies with 30 hit points, you will die. If you keep dying on the same fight then reload and go elsewhere to level a bit, then try again later. It's a lot, I know, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

Small precision, short rest don’t generally restore spell slots… except for Warlocks then it does.

Go to the character screen, select the 3rd tab, on the bottom it lists the weapons and armor that the character is proficient in.

A combat round consists of: Action, Bonus action, Reaction, Movement, Concentration. You can and should use most of these during your turn. Good luck

Furiosa was a lot of fun, maybe not as good as Fury Road, but Anya and Chris did a great job

You can select Quick Save(F5) even during combat

In this video, you tried many times to defeat a more powerful group of enemies inside The Chapel, after activating lever, send in 1 character with ranged weapon, attack 1 enemy, run back to your friends waiting in the previous room, let 1 enemy through door into the room, activate lever to close door and defeat this 1 enemy, repeat 5 times.

The game allows for a limitless style of play. Use the terrain and height advantages, stacking chests and boxes 3 high will grant a height bonus(called advantage). Dip weapons in fire, ignite flammable barrels, throw grenades are some of the easier ways to play. Glad you stuck with the game.

You can practice fights in your party campsite.

You can steal, kill anyone and everybody in the game. Some companions leave you though, but you can still finish the game. Hirelings can be hired at your camp later, no personal quests and no opinion as to your actions...loyal to the end.
