Yessss 🎉 I’m so happy for you! I cut my hair off back in 2020 and I felt so free regardless of all the men in my life advising me against it.. grew it back out and I’m getting ready to cut it again tonight! It’s so freeing and babes it’ll grow back! Sending love 🩷🩷🩷

My hair is so damaged I said to myself before the end of the year I need to cut all off, so it can grow back hopefully better, I never chopped my hair before, but lm ready.

I went through a traumatic relationship pregnancy and birth I combed out my locs but I still feel the weight and energy attached to me I’m watching this video as I comb out my hair and say good bye…. Thank you for the confidence and comfort ❤️💯

I just did the big chop 1 day after my 24th birthday . I didn’t even cry or nun like yea I look like someone grown son but it’s coo I feel a sense of freedom … I seen a pic that said it’s just hair let it go it holds bad memories. I think that helped me with grieving my hair …. So now I’m day 2 of big chop excited to see where it’ll be next year !

Woohooo rock it girl! I'm proud of you! I know it can be hard - but I'll tell you one thing, once you see yourself with short hair, you never go back! Bald/TWA Baddie status activated! The first time I ever cut my hair is when I was 9 or 10. I've love it ever since! And yes, too much maintenance for long hair! Cheering for you on the other side of the screen!

Aw, watching you cry made me get emotional as well. Im trying to decide if i want to cut my locs off. Ive NEVER had short hair in my life, but before getting my locs i bleached and dyed my hair so much that my locs are unhealthy and i just wanna start over😕. My hair is literally my everything to me and i already know im going to be bawling my eyes out whenever i decide to chop em off😭! You look so beautiful!!

You should try it especially if you think youre hair is unhealthy! Your hair will grow back quicker than you think. I hope you make that decision 🫶🏾

I actually like it a lot!

I cried from the start until she start cutting it because it’s so true we carry so much through our hair !!!! And I’m getting ready to cut my locs for the second time because they’re so thin and not growing like the first time around , I’m just over it and I’m just so emotional about it!!!! But this just gave me hope and confidence again !!!!

Girl you better get a wig 😅 unhealthy hair is the worse because it never cooperates. Or use protective styles until you feel like you can cut it to where you can do your desired styles.

I just got my hair done for graduation with knotless braids and after everything is over and a few weeks has passed, I’m thinking of chopping and dying my hair too and seeing you cry made me tear up🥺❤
