Letting go of a perfect house is HARD! I'm much a happier person when my house is clean, BUT I also know I'm happy person when I put my kids first. It's a process and practicing letting go is probably a good thing. 😂💕💕

I give my sons who are 13 and 9 daily assignments to have completed by the time I get off work. When I come home, I grade their assignments and ask questions to make sure they understand the content. They are more self-taught through this method. We do tests and field trips on Fridays. By God's grace, they are learning and growing.

Oh my goodness you have no idea how your video just lifted me up. I'm in SA homeschooling Mama of 2 girls 8&6 with a turning 2 year boy. I've been officially doing this for three years and working full time at home and all of a sudden I just felt things kind of turning sideways our days are not turning as I plan and it's just been overwhelming, even thinking of leaving my job but financially not a good idea, I have a loving and supportive husband who works outside and it's winter down here days are short we just not getting to staff. But I feel like this video has actually opened me to new ideas and tips to do things differently and above all just be present no matter how much we get through and do the things I can do and outsource what I can by getting extra help as well so we can enjoy each other. Thank you I just told the girls we need to have a workshop on how we can better progress while enjoying the journey❤🙏

This is what I needed to hear. Currently working full time remote while trying to maintain the home & start "school" with my 3.5 year old and 1 year old. I can only handle 20-30min of any lesson work for my 3.5. My heart wants to devote all day to raising my kids but I cannot. It is so overwhelming but I'm glad I came across this video..."God has put you where you are." Something I will try to remember.

Outsourcing is hard for me to admit is needed but it really does help so much! I want to eventually outsource some house work but for now we outsource some homeschooling options like PE, general art, fine arts, and local history. Wednesday’s are pretty much a full day of learning with little effort from me lol

We love curriculum!!! 2 of my kids are doing languages and they are taught by family friends. We don’t have the perfect house. We never have as I feel it’s better than not bonding. We have simple wardrobes. I buy food products that make it easier. My daughter looked at me one day and said ur making tea. We call dinner tea. I was making frozen fish and oven chips.

We don't have family who can really contribute, is a nanny our only option for the days when we both are at work?

I work part time, not full time, so that helps. I also have my mom who teaches them the days I work which is a huge blessing! It’s a lot of moving parts for sure and some things get left out during the day. It definitely took (and is taking) adjusting and trial and error to make things work!
