Being a countertenor myself, I can say this is very interesting. Thank you!

@@geraldthompsonct well, to be honest I'd really like to hear from you something about the upper passaggio, the bridge between the middle range and the high range. I know I have mine between sol # and sib (do3), and I still have some difficulty with arias which 'insist' in that area. I hope I've explained myself clearly, I'm not a native english speaker. Thanks in advance! ^^

@@geraldthompsonct hello! can you do a video on breathe control on higher notes for countertenors? my highest note is Bb5 but i lose the strong resonance and vibrato onGb5. my neck also tenses up on Gb5 aswell. And also maybe lower notes as I get breathy around F4. thank you so much!!

Dmitri in Anastasia. The final A of “My Petersburg” is in my range but hard to hit after singing the rest of the song

@@MistressKatari Are you able to sing this note during your vocal warm ups? You may also try this exercise. kzread.infoUgkxDxQYBA0Xx6zaAc5-8BS6B3SPOAQsBkWu?si=2u6O3Vn4onlBXHGP I find it helpful to first remove the consonants from the phrase and sing an „u“ on the bottom note and an „a“ on the top note with a glissando connecting the two notes. This ensures you are connecting the breath between the notes. Once you add back the consonants, on the word Petersberg, try singing an „uh“ instead of the „er“, sing the „b“ in on the bottom note instead of placing it on the top note and sing an „a“ on the top note. Petuhsbaaag. If this works, you can then just round the lips a bit on the two modified vowels, but leave the opened head resonance space. I hope this helps.
