Everyone’s talking about Bakugo’s hero name but I’m more touched by the fact that he respects Best Jeanist so much he wouldn’t reveal his hero name until Jeanist heard it first. He was even relieved that Jeanist was alive and he doesn’t even seem like the type of hero Bakugo would respect compared to his #1 idol All Might and Bakugo didn’t even reveal his name to him!! So that speaks volumes.

It shows that Bakugo has layers to him. On the surface, sure, it seems that Bakugo wouldn't care for Jeanist. But obviously, deeper down, he does. And based on his recent flashback, it's obvious that he does care a lot for people. He just has a lot of insecurities that keep him from showing it too often.

Having Bakugo be an imtern/apprentice of Best Jeanist just works so well. You'd expect the story to make him get closer to a hero like Endeavor but the fact that he ended up respecting and cherishing Best Jeanist and his mentorship is pretty cool to me

I like how both Compress and Spinner give their opinions even though they're the villains but the only one who likes the name is Mirio 😂

The one time Bakugo brought unity between the villains and hero's was having them all agree that THAT name was terrible.

I like that even the two villains "shared" their thoughts for US

The only other time I've seen the heroes and villain agree on something was when they all wanted to bring down Overhaul. So Bakugo and Overhaul are the only 2 so far who ever made heroes and villains unite.

You know it's bad when even the villains dislike it

I actually like this, he never confirmed his hero name because midnight said they weren't good enough, and knowing how his dream is to be a hero, hes probably planned those since he was a little kid. Jeanist said how HE wants to be, so he ultimately just chose the name he wanted, regardless if it clashes with others.

Anyone else think it's kind of adorable that Bakugou wouldn't tell anyone his hero name until he told Best Jeanist first?

It's honestly a very good way to show Bakugo's character development. At first he chose this name, because he just wanted to do everything his own way. Now, this name shows his determination in achieving every single goal possible.

@@benjaminmcneil574 You don't call Eraserhead "Erasure Hero: Eraserhead," either. That's part of his name, though, just like Rainy Season Hero: Froppy, Gravity Hero: Uravity, etc. Deku and technically Shoto are the only heroes that don't have formal titles (like All Might's).
