I think it’s really sad that bakugo won’t be number one hero. He would be devastated because it was something he worked his entire life for and everyone told him was going to be so he would be even more let down because he had actually thought he would be for a majority of his life. Plus Deku had only had his quirk for like a month and he was already all might’s favorite when bakugo admired him so much and Deku, the person who had always been weaker and thought looked down on him had suddenly become better than him and that hurt him SO much. His mom always told him things were his fault and mentally and physically abused him so he seemed approval from everyone else and he got that. Everyone else told him he was awesome and he was mean and rude mostly because of the way his mom acts. He starts to get better and then all might loses his power trying to save him and he finds out all might gave Deku his quirk. He thinks it all his fault and that all might and Deku and everyone else hates him. He knows he’s an ass most of the time but he doesn’t know how to help it. He wants to be the best so bad but he feels as if everyone else and himself is pushing him back further and further away from the top, the place he wants to be most. And if becomes #1 hero by default like if Deku dies or something it would make him feel even worse adding to all the guilt he feels from the past. He would feel like he isn’t good enough and no one even wants him to be a pro hero. Like when people say he acts more like a villain that makes him want to be better but that does a big toll on his mental heath. I think the question is does he really want to be at the top? Well yes, but he also just wants to be accepted and be enough without having to push everything and everyone out of his way including himself. And that concludes my rant. It is currently 11:29 on a school night. Thank you and good night ladies, gentle-men, gentle enbies, and everyone else. (But not actually goodnight because who sleeps anyway am I right?)
