Whether it's in the Philippines, US, Canada or Germany it's really up to the immigration officer or the consul that you're facing. Some are strict or suspicious and some are forgiving. My nephew overstayed for a week in the US on his 1st visit. He stayed for 4 mos on his 2nd visit. a year later, he tried to enter the US with a return ticket and he was going to stay for 5 months. He was turned back at the airport. Reason? Overstayed on his 1st visit which was 3 years ago. So be very careful.

Moral lesson of the story, wag isagad yun period of days na binigay nila. 3 days before your visa expires, mag-exit na. Their country, their rules. So kahit walang negligence sa part mo, wala ka magagawa.

I live in Germany and so I know that there is no way that the immigration officers will scam anyone. May valid issue that’s why he was asked to pay for a fine!

I’m also a travel for 15 years now here in Europe and I’ve been to America too but so far never akong nagka problema like sa flight or nadukutan or nawalan ng gamit dahil sobrang ingat na ingat talaga ako sa mga paligid ko at sa Oras lalo na sa mga flight ko palagi akong maaga narating ng airport

I am resident in Germany, and have been working here in a Biotech company in Frankfurt for almost 10 years now. I am 1000% sure that they did not scam you. This country is extremely rule/law-oriented. They are very, very strict in abiding laws and so are the immigration officers. Dont make any mistake when you are in Germany, the consequences are heavy.

Germany is really strict. Kahit neighbor countries nila strict din sila. So hindi lang ung gaya nitong vlogger neto na traveller nagi strict. Kami nga na taga dito lang din sa NL kuntodo check pa lahat id’s at baggages mo lalo na pag biahe by bus. But appreciate ko ung pagiging strict nila.

And why are you talking to a stranger and nag kape ka pa talaga knowing that youre already late? Well it’s your money’s loss, but this kind of situation can be avoided. Sayang pera. Just be wise and wag YOLO thinking palagi.

From my understanding, this situation doesn't seem like overstaying, but it's true that we should always allow a day or two as a buffer for the number of days we're permitted to stay. I have followed you when you were starting as a youtuber, few years back. I'm so proud of what U become now. You have encouraged people to follow their dreams, and you set those examples to most of them. I may not in the position to judge you nor telling you that what you did is right/wrong. I have traveled 23 countries so far, my main purpose is to explore, enjoy and know the cities I'm into. But, my main priority of all these is my SAFETY. I asked, googled, gathered pertinent infos of cities I'm planning to visit. The do's and don'ts in short. Let me put this way, we are aware you have visas, there's limit and time frame, always remember do not jeopardize your own safety whatever it takes, regardless. Every country has their own rules to follow, you know that, you are a traveler. You have been to diff places already. We all know 3 hours minimum before departure, you should be in the airport. You even know, what time would be the boarding time then. Its understandable if you are newbie, but you are not. What the heck, you were late? Come on, Francis... Your so called boyfriend, should know as well the hassles of it. He should be the one to guide you about all this. I know you are in love with him, but you should sets boundaries and limitations esp if you are to be compromised. I'm not judging you okay. But based on some of your videos recently when sometimes putting yourself in danger, is not worthy at all. You even said that you even traveling to most dangerous places just give your fans a heads up because you want to do it as well. But putting yourself at risk, ur well being and ur health is worth it? I dont think so? How would you convince some people to follow your footsteps if somehow along the way, there is danger. Always remember, do not argue with the immigration officers. As you said, scam? U maximized your stay. You should alloted some days prior so whatever things happen unexpectedly, you have other options. Passport, money, any identifications should be kept on sight 100%. Always be observant and be attentive! Always follow your instinct and gut feeling. Like what I have said, I am not judging you Francis, its just all my observations based on your narration. Come to think of it, how would you convince anyone to travel like what U do, if they see this loopholes . If I would be, I will be scared as well... Ginagawa nil yan kasi takot ang mga tao magka criminal case but in reality nakita-an nila ng loophole pero is not overstaying, wala lang balls ang mga tao kasi nadal na sila sa takot. Is best to talk na fin sa embassy nila to call and enquire para sure 💯. I would not take advice from my friends, i would take it as grain of salt... but this is my personality na may trust issues ko and it did help me Some friends they think they know sht but in reality they don't know any better. Worse giv u false info cus they r lowkey jealous... Parang pina pa diagnose mo ung sakit mo sa friend mo instead calling or going to the dr.

Before 30days kasi dapat naka out ka na sa hotel mo. I mean 29 pa lang and then Bago mag 30days need na umalis ng flight mo. Para sa time line nila naka 30 days ka na😅

To be on the safe side beh, you should keep within the parameters of your visa and wag mong sagarin. It's better to leave a day before your visa expires to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

Hello po, kaya po nasabi nila na overstay kayo kasi "naka record sa system ng schengen countries ang inyong entry date at EXIT date base sa inyong ticket yan. Yes , they will check ung ticket nyo (days) kung pasok sa number of days ng inyong given visa. PERO they will record sa centralized system ng schengen countries ang inyong exit date. Kaya they are expecting na nakalabas na kayo ng schengen countries regardless kung may natitira pa kayong days sa visa. It is good na magkaroon ng allowance , gaya ng inyong sbi 28 days lang kayo dapt pero ang visa ay 30 days( that is good) may 2 days allowance para pag madelay or cancel ang flight you still have extra days at na pwede mong gawing dahilan kung bakit ka overstay ( at the same time may permit ka pa rin mag stay kasi may allowance) Kasi if the scenario is cancel flight, kaya ka naextend until 30th mo dyan. Same pa rin sasabihin nila sayo OVER STAY ka pa din PERO pag naipaliwanag mo na it is not your fault, hindi ka na mag babayad ng fee. Yes may FEE / Penalty ang overstay ( hindi po scam yan) once you pay the fee, clear ka na at hindi ka banned sa schengen countries. If hindi ka naman nagbayad kasi nagkataon wala pera on the spot or ayaw magbayad. Uuwi ka p rin naman ng pinas PERO banned ng 2 yrs. Thats what happened to my friend. And yung isa ko namang friend ung kapatid nya nahold din sa immigration because of delayed flight kaya sya nasabihan ng overstay even though meron pa syang 5 days sa visa nya. Wala sya pera pero ate nya kumontak sa police/ immi sa Germany para sya magbayad since walang dala ung kapatid nya na cash. In short, be mindful kasi naka record ang entry and exit date at mahigpit dyan ang schengen countries (EU)

Better to leave two day before your visa expires, so that you don’t have any last minute problems at the international airport due to late arrival of the flight or unforeseen weather conditions or delayed departure etc.

Hi Beh. This also happened to me when I travelled to Brunei for 15 days as a tourist visa. Nag exit ako exactly 15th day ko and na mentioned din sakin na overstayed yun. Sabi ng IO don't do it again or else magkka record ako. 😅

Ive been to Japan, HK, Macao, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, etc (more than 15 countries), it may not be as much as yours but I am also an OFW here in Saudi for 16 years now so I guess I have enough experience in the airport scenario. If this happened to you , you must remain calm and know your ground. You have your stamped of date entry and exit also, plus your flight ticket . You immediately show them to the the officers citing 30 days. 30 days is 30 days, days exceeds to that is considered overstay. If they insist you to pay , then you need to have a receipt citing with the date and information. Later you send all this documents to file a complain against it. Any corruptions and abuse of authority could happen in regardless of which country. You just need to file a complaint after with your documents. If that happens to you, it could happen to anyone.

1st...any Questions about your Tourist/Business/Fiancée Visa needs to be addressed by an Immigration Office NOT by friends, Facebook, Google Search, Employer, School,Reddit. In the US... for example..... leaving until your last day constitutes an Overstay because Technically the date of "ADMIT UNTIL DATE" is your last day stamped on your paper, electronic I-94 form. So if the date says April 30th, your last day is 1159pm April 29th. I have a feeling that was the case in Germany.

@@franciscandiyey teh Ive been to more than 15 countries and Ive been an OFW here in Saudi for 16 years now. So I guess Ive enough airport experience eme. Enough to know that a lot of airport matters can be solved and hassles can avoided by being in the airport at 3 to 4 hours before your flying time. And teh try mong pumunta dito sa Saudi and question their laws tignan ko lang di ka madeport in an instant or makalaboso. Their country their rules. Peace.

Hindi ka ba nag ask sa Philippine embassy re: overstaying before nagpunta ka Sa airport? It seems like it’s more sensible to leave before 30 days if you’re not sure.

you need to check ur visa po.. Its tricky kase baka ur visa was VALID for 30 days (un start and end date) pero the DURATION of STAY is shorter than 30 days.. mgkaiba kase un dalawa.. It happened to me before na i was given validity of 7 days pero un duration of stay is 5 days lng..

I think nag overstay talaga and he most likely thought na the amount of days sa validity is the same amount of days he can stay when in fact he should have checked the number of days sa duration. Its very not smart to accept a fine without understanding why you had it din. If hindi naman pala clear sa kanya ang reason, he should have asked them to explain it to him again na maintindihan nya. May google din for research purposes.

Kumukuha din ako schegen visa. Nagbibigay talaga sila ng one month pero may nakalagay kasi diyan na kahit 30 days nakalagay ka stay ka lang ng 15 days. Kahit binigyan ako ng 2 years nakalagay 90 days lang allowed ..

Sa ibang bansa pwede mag extend bhe.. cguro sa kanila lang. Stay safe always bhe .

Thats weird. May kilala ako na approve ng 6days lang sa schengen kasi yun lang approved sakanya.. so umalis siya ng 6th day. Germany din yun. Hindi naman na penalty. I mean lungkot naman if bawasan pa ng 1-2days yung 6days na trip? Sure ka bang hindi ja nag overstay ng 1 day? Nag count ka ba na 1st day when you get the arrival stamp sa passport or after 24hrs?

tama mag count palang ng first day entry mo pag dating mo sa border entry and after immigration stamp the date of your entry

Maybe it was dependent on what you declared during the immigration interview prior to ur europe tour. Lets say you said ull be staying in Netherlands for only 20 days based on your itinerary. Im not sure ah but its possible.

I don't think so kc ang friend ko nag stayed sa Italy ng 29 days samantalang Switzerland ang main destination nya nag stay sya doon ng 4 days at 3 days suppose to be sa italy nka declared sa knyang travel tour ay for 7 days lang sa visa application nya and sa Immigration airport they don't have time to open the entire application that you have submitted to the consul ang makikita lang nila ay ang duration ng Visa information mo pag scan ang barcode ng visa sticker or type ang passport number mo and lalabas ang information only saan state Schengen ka galing before entry /exit

Ano ba talaga ang expiration date ng visa mo? Yun din dapat ang max date to exit. It's not about number of days kasi, if you were given 30 days pero late ang entry mo, ang count ay not from the day you entered. Start ng count yung start date. For ex. Validity May 1- May 30 and you entered May 10, ang exit mo pa rin ay May 30 even if d mo nacomplete ang 30 days. Pero if sinita ka na within pa rin sa same date ng expiry, d yata tama yun. You have the intent to leave the country naman within your visa validity.

Hindi siya Overstayed. Pero kasi na reason na need tlga mag exit ng country before the said day ng expired is alloted un sa mga uncertain indcident im a Ofw our visas release same day our flight and it has 3days expired. Kasi incase na ma stock sa airport may ilang days pa. Their just doing their job kasi incase na ma tolerate at ma back track yang ganyan sila ang madadale. Remeber atlist 3 days before expired umalis napo kyo.. Wag na risk. To avoid like this.

Very impormative francis maganda yan nasasabi mo dito and mga bad experience mo para maging aware kami.

Naistop din pala ako sa Malaysia kasi sinagad ko yung visa ko sa Brunei pumunta kaming Malaysia para pumasok uli sa Brunei. Ang dami kong biniling gadgets sa Malaysia; Cellphone, Portable TV, at Malaking Radio cassette/CD. Hinarang din ako bakit daw ang dami ko raw biniling gadgets. Nagkibit balikat lang ako. Obvious naman na mga brandnew yung mga dala ko kung gusto nya makita resibo, nasa akin din. Tapos tinanong ako kung bakit daw may laptop ako, Tahimik pa rin ako. Sya mismo nagsabi for email? Ginalaw ko na lang yung ulo ko. Naubusan siya ng mga tanong hanggang nagsawa at pinayagan na akong pumasok. ALam ko kasi wala naman akong ginagawang masama kaya hinintay ko na lang siya ang matauhan.

During my vacation sa germany sinagad ko din ung 30 days na binigay. Nasa airport ako on my 30th day 6pm yun tapos nag consume ng oras kasi pipila tapos, xray ect. Mga 8:30pm nakapila na ako sa immigration... Wala naman ako naging problema.

Dependi kasi sa immigration officer kung gaano ka strikto,, any country mayroon ganon,,dpat hindi mo kailangan isagad ang 30 days binigay kahit isang araw bago ang expiration. Kailngan mg exit.para wlang masyadong tanong ng immigration officer..im traveller before,, 2 weeks 6 country in europe staying for 2-3 days ..

Europe is overly pricey. I would avoid it at all costs. Parang one timer lang sya but after non is ok na di na balikan unlessnu lived there

Since you want to travel a lot, have you thought of getting a foreign passport in the future? Of course that entails abiding with regulations of that specific country and it's gonna be a lengthy process but in the long run, it will benefit you when it comes to your travels.

I left schengen area on the last day of my visa validity and did not experience such thing.

Sorry but you have to account for delays , problems, etc. that is why you don’t want to leave on the exact day your visa expires.

KC Ang tourist visa, 3 days before mag expire Ang visa mo. Klangan mo na mag exit, d dpat sinasagad Ang visa, learn your lesson, khit san bansa ka pumasok, keep that in your mind para d ka napapahamaknor nakapasok sa alanganin situation.

Pwede overstaying Yun kahit lagpas ka Ng minotu ganyan talga pag strict.

It doesn't matter how long your visa is valid for, your legal stay will all depend on how many days the border officer has given you upon entry. For example if you Shengen Visa is valid for 3 months, but the border officer when you land only gave you 2 weeks, then you can only stay for 2 weeks. At the end of the day how long you can stay still depends on the decision of the border officer, regardless of what your visa says. Hope that helps

really? in what country is that? por pabor when you receive 3months visa from their embassy it means you can stay until 3months in that country but not more than 3 months. it is not the immigration's duty to give you days of your stay in their country unless you have booked your flight back or out of the country, so you must leave the country atleasr 2-3days before your visa or flight expires. unless your previous visa is a working visa coz in some country you may extend your stay until 30days but again you must not over use it.

@angelosumagay6522 that's for every country. How long a visitor can stay is always at the discretion of the border officer, not the embassy visa. Yes most of the time, the border officer will give you the same days as the validity of the visa issued by the embassy, but there are times when the border officer will assess someone upon entry and deem them inappropriate for long stays (financial reason is mostly the cause) so they limit the number of days a visitor can stay. Worse case scenario, they refuse a visitor's entry even if they have a valid visa. This is why it's always important to read the stamp on the passport and not the visa vignette.

@@fil_britbunnyboi872 hahaha ive been to many countries and ive never experienced such thing like that yes they are giving you visa stamping on your passport but that is not on their own personal discretion on how many days it depends upon your nationality on how many days you can stay there and some country you cannot just fly without applying for their visa ahead of time you already know how many days you can stay there.

2x ako nag visit visa noon sa Germany sinagad ko naman yung expiration ng visa ok nman. Very strict sa rules ang Germany at yung scam impossible yun sa Immigration nila.

Baka dahil sa date kung hanggang kelan lang valid yung visa mo beh, kahit 30 days ung max if expired na yung visa sa date ng uwi overstay na. Muntik na ako don dati, buti nalang sa PH airport palang napansin nila bago ako umalis na yung return ticket is mag ooverlap na don sa expiration/validity date ng visa, ng base kasi ako sa number of days na inallow sa visa.

Dapat ireklamo mo yan..na scam ka..hindi ka nag overstay..kung hanggang kailan ang date nilagay sa visa mo, pwede din ka aalis hanggang sa valid date mo sa visa.
