Damn, the first episode used better animation than the other episodes. Well I mean, Shinogi vs. Koreha, Baki vs. Zulu, Doppo vs. Shibukawa, Baki vs. Jack, those episodes also used very well detailed animation. But overall, the first episode had an iconic animation style.

I love the whole cutting his own neck with dude's blade, just to yank it back like, _"SORRY!"_ It's actually kinda cute. A dislike of someone, and a willingness to see harm befall them (bonus points for causing it), but not a pure hatred that's like "I'm gonna *literally kill* him!" Still, I'm with Baki, it's like, _"Dude,_ *why* _did you even bring the sword in the first place!"_

It's kinda the same plot honestly The plot for baki was and is Baki is willing to do everything in order to be strong enough to defeat his father that's it really simple but it works because it makes baki do all kind of crazy things just to be stronger

@@1998jroy I gist. But i do not know if Baki still wants to defeat Yujiro after the Strongest father and son fight. So it feels too open where the series is going. I still feel baki wants to achieve his goal of being slightly stronger than Yujiro but he doesn't feel as on his destiny to fight Yujiro no matter what. So there is a plot but i kind of miss bakis agency, nevertheless seing Jack has me really excited and jack would not get the spotlight if bakiverse wasnt in this state so i am grateful and excited for the future.

@@jellyface401Nah, you're reason, but ppl try to defend the plots on Netflix somehow, i really LOVED the first plot when Kid Baki actually was a though mdfk with enough motivation and revenge who wanted to actually kill his evil father, netflix baki it's a pssy.

I'm upset they didn't bring back Fighting Road OST for the new Baki. It's timeless.

This is the show that got me in to MMA the whole reason I joined. My first kickboxing class was with the goal in mind to be able to fight a 100. Men like boki, which in hindsight would never happen even if I trained my entire life. But that's the whole reason I started fighting in the first place And if I can respect anything about my younger self. Is definitely the tenacity that I had If nothing else😂

Best Baki is the kiddo Baki by far, in Netflix is a girl.

Soo some people wonder how Baki would fare in Tokyo Revengers. Well Draken in TR actually beats up 100 thugs.... but he is one the strongest characters in that show. 13 years old Baki in the first episode was already comparable to that. 16 years old Baki from the first show could probably solo the entire Tokyo Revengers verse. And let's not bring up current Baki from the manga...

How is 13 year old Baki from episode 1 comparable to Draken? Draken defeated all 100 men with just minor injuries while Baki was only able to defeat 37 of them.

Being comparable by definition means "able to be likened to another; similar" or something "of equivalent quality; worthy of comparison". You can compare a 6 year old's strength to a powerlifter, still doesn't mean they're both comparable. Also technically you mentioned Baki in the first episode being "already" comparable to Draken, not Baki a few episodes later so yeah my point still stands.
