It is amazing where we have come from since our employee crappie tournaments in our younger days. I remember Richard and I winning several of those tournaments back in the day. Proud to call Charlie my friend. His sharing shows of this info shows you what kind of man he is. Thanks Mike for having him on the Baker Bits.

I met Charlie and his wife a few years ago at the Grizzle show. We drove all the way from SC. He is a super nice guy, willing to show and help you with anything. love his wife, she works as harder in the family business than the boys.lol. good people!!!!

Great video Mike! What kind of KNOT did Charlie tie the main lain to the rig loop with? Couldn't quite see that. TYSM!

Great idea but I couldn't see the line. I watch these on my phone. I can usually see guys who use line over black towels.

Outstanding video Mr Mike!! I truly love these Baker bits. Best short tip videos out there. Question i have tho is, does Charlie use the same weight during high winds or deep water? For years Caps and Coleman would push to use the heavy weights sometimes in excess of 1 oz. I seen Charlie is only using 5/16 oz thats why I ask.

I probably shouldn't speak for Charlie but I know he will use whatever weight is necessary to get the job done under the conditions he is facing. If he needs heavier weight he will tie an egg sinker on between the main line loop and the bottom jig /hook by running the line through the egg sinker four times and then tying on a jig or hook below the egg sinker.
