Baked Honey Garlic Chicken

In this video I will be showing you how to make baked honey garlic chicken !
Ingredients :
1.5lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 minced garlic cloves
1 medium onion diced
2.5 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp dry thyme
2 tsp ginger paste
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch

Would this work without the ginger paste
Can we use chicken breast ? If yes would you know how long to cook it for without it getting dry ?
you don't mention the white substance on the plate. Guessing it's corn starch
nice but it's not advised to wash raw chicken with water because of aerosolization
