Mint poloroid same! I didn't make it more Mother's Day but made it myself!! I really like how Japan made the pancakes like that!

For it to keep the heart shape, dont grease the foil paper. When you grease it (spray or butter or oil) it tends to slide when the batter is poured in and even more as the batter rises in the oven

I was watching a few videos on these because I bought them also. So 2 tips for you that I learned...dont spray, thats why it slid outward. Also dont use parchment, it does the same thing to the bottom of the cake. The spray is what made you're cake slide and brown at the bottom. Hope this helps! If you didn't know by now. 😍☺✌💜

Hi Rachel ☺️ I've seen a product similar to this called shape cakes. It's the same idea but it uses magnets to join together so there's no indentation when two meet. It also has magnets on the bottom so it sticks to the baking tray therefore I don't think it would move.

You should do more of these I love it already 😍

OMG, even though you were apologizing about not taking your time with decorating the cake, it was STILL AMAZING!!! I used parchment paper to bake these molds on. No burnt bottoms. My first try was with Banana Bread, didn't try any special shapes. Used 2 triangles (3 bands), and (4) 1 band circles. I didn't use any cooking spray at all. Just made sure the bread, cool for 15-20 minutes, before I took the bands off. I do like them. NOTE: Of course the smaller bread bands did bake faster than the big ones :) :)

In another video, someone said that you can bake the cake without greasing the foil or silicone. That way, the silicone can grip the foil and the cake won't slide and expand. It doesn't really seem to stick, either. I liked the fact that you didn't let the little mishap stop you! Cute video

Its a good idea.. In another review video of these exact same product they did not use any butter spray or oil so that it has a firm grip and doesn't expand and it did come out a heart.. :)

hey Rachel! next time, try baking the heart shape cake with no cooking spray. the oil causes it to slide and that's why it didn't hold the shape properly. without the oil, the silicone and foil will peal off without any fuss and you'll be left with a beautiful heart shaped cake!! I hope this helps ❤

I made your Japanese pancakes for Mother's Day and she thought it was the perfect amount of sweetness!! It was very moist and yummy! Although I didn't have any spray on oil/butter so I had to do it manually which was kinda tiring 😪😓 but otherwise it was a very easy and fun recipe to make!

Good thing I didn't buy a baking snake 😕 But love how you managed to recreate the cakes and it turned out so pretty! Hope you can make a kawaii taiyaki in one of your future vids! 😀
