Here's one of the most famous signature techniques of Baji Quan. It’s a move from Xiao Jia, the first form of Baji. It’s called "crossing palm step forward and split in 2 sides" (穿掌进步两分张), in Ba Da Jia (the “8 big moves” of Baji Quan), it's called "King of hell 3 pointing hands" (阎王三点手).
You may see different versions of this move, but the details are best shown in the old Zheng family Baji. In this video, you see performances from the old Zheng, Wei system Baji, the movements may vary a little depending on the practitioner, but they all have the same meaning. In other systems of Baji, the differences will be even greater.
This technique includes several signatures of Baji Quan : the hand and feet striking at the same time, the shoulder strike and the take down. These are all important aspects that make the technique very powerful when executed properly.

Vous pouvez voir différentes versions de ce mouvement, mais les détails sont bien représentés dans l'ancien Baji de la famille Zheng. Dans cette vidéo, vous voyez des performances de l'ancien Baji Zheng, du système Wei. Les mouvements peuvent varier un peu selon le pratiquant, mais ils ont tous la même signification. Dans d'autres systèmes de Baji, les différences seront encore plus grandes.
Cette technique contient plusieurs "signatures" du Baji Quan : la main et le pied qui frappent en même temps, la frappe à l'épaule et la projection au sol. Ce sont tous des aspects importants qui rendent la technique très puissante lorsqu'elle est exécutée correctement.
