Bajaj Pulsar 180F : Everything has changed but this : PowerDrift

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Bajaj Pulsar 180F, yes, with neon highlights, is Bajaj’s latest motorcycle in the Pulsar line-up. But is it new? Or is it old? Will it make it past BS6? How good is it? We answer all of those questions and there’s a surprise motorcycle in this video too! Plus Hrithik Roshan, Raveena Tandon and Anil Kapoor! And of course, our very own Shumi. I think we have said enough about the 180F, no? Watch the video, hit like, subscribe if you haven’t and let us know what you think in the comments!

It’s needless to say that the emotions run high after watching such video. A befitting video homage to an era, rather to the thing that started it all (i.e. turning boys into men). We all grew up between the lines, initially thanks to, (where it started from) “Humara Bajaj” but went to Bajaj pulsar “Definitely male” and to all the way to Bajaj Pulsar “The fastest Indian”. Amongst other fabulous videos from PD, this one.. deserved a rare comment. Great script, sound, cinematography, quality, audio (music). A well put together piece. Precise and crisp. Good job, keep it up.

Bajaj should experiment with the classic design once again. Round head lamp(with LEDs ofcourse), differently styled alloys, but fatter tyres. And plonk the KTM's 250cc motor. Classics are a trend now. It should work.

The Pulsar was a game changer! A dream for me when I was just 10! So many firsts in the Indian motoring scene! The second and third generation, even the fourth generation upgrades saw some really cool changes in styling.. from the headlight to the tail light.. each upgrade made it sharper.. but it's been stuck there in a limbo ever since.. the NS version was a good looking motorcycle but didn't do well.. the RS200 is too polarizing.. Bajaj has got to bring in another game changer.. or like the Honda City.. it will too become just another vehicle on the road!

I love power drift because it makes no bike look bad, even when thay say the negatives about a bike they are very careful not to insult the vehicle,,behind each motoring wheels that we see theres a lot of hardwork behind it,so simply dont insult it,few other chanels insults the crap out of the bike and makes fun of it....they feel like they are the direct descendends of michael schumaker or valentino rossi...

Nostalgia at its best... Really love what schumi said... I was guy who just passed 10th and entered the collage when this bike came... There was a serious riverlary between the pulsar's and the apache's... And chose the other side... Now when these bikes are fading away, I have a lot of respect for these old heroes who started the performance bike trend in India... Its like that dialog of Batman to Jim gorden in Batman: Arkham Knight: "You were there at the beginning. Now you get to see how it ends..."

I will always be thankful to this brand and it has got very strong impression in my heart. Don’t know why it always brings tears in my eyes when I see such videos of this bike. Even today I own an avenger as a secondary bike, and somewhere I feel the pulsar is still with me. Now, this is what mellow storytelling is. Shumar does that so brilliantly. Quite a departure from PD's way of full-on blasting soundtrack and slightly testosterone-filled over the top videos. Its a welcome change. As always, a very well made Video guys. Double thumbs up. Back when the 150cc's were introduced, i was just out of school. And CBZ had managed to capture all my senses. Pulsar, with those round headlamp, looked too plain jane. But here and today, looking back at what performance biking has snowballed into, i am sure you all would agree with me when i say that it all can be traced back to Pulsar 180. Also, Pulsar 200 was my fav.

One expert advice : just do one thing >1) make it sport bike or naked bike. 2) as we know yamaha brings nothing on r3 segment just they changed their skin according to new generation. 3) bring changes in tyre & disk size. Yes now bajaj should do this things & see the growth of production. Think again.

We all know, bajaj is just playing with old 220 frame and parts with outdated 180cc engine laying in warehouse. It a salvage job. But the way Power drift present it with old & new, the nostalgic feel. Gosh man it hit right to the heart ♥ Your narration & cinematography is as always mind blowing.

Pulsar 180 is definitely a sentiment for Bajaj. Even though the sales are way less and has axed and played with many of its bikes like 200(much better than 180), 135, NS 200, AS 200, As 150 but never ever touched 180. Definitely when compared with 150, the 180 sales are lesser and the Power to Weight ratio and in pulling power with 17ps power, it deoesnt feel like a 180cc bike with 17ps in its pull. The Bajaj didnt even touched or reworked 180s engine after 2009. And 150cc is fiddled multiple times playing with torque and power figures in UG3, UG4, UG4.5, BS4, UG5. If Bajaj guys have been given the orders from Rajiv, 180 would have blown away the competition with its retuned/reworked engine. But that too didnt happened. Anyway even if reworked it cant touch 220 which has its own cult following. Many a times media said 180 will be axed. But that didnt happened until now. Theres something that Rajiv Bajaj only knows the answer what makes 180 so special. As per my analysis its definitely a sentiment until today.

Pulsar is not just a name it's an emotion to every early 20's guy. Every guy then wished that it would be a pulsar as his first bike, including me too. And then back in 2017 that childhood dream turned into reality "pulsar" came home.❤️

I owned a 220F for 5 years! Made me nostalgic and miss my old bike very much. I still remember watching your 220 vs ZMR review when I was deciding on my which bike, But this doesn't stop me from being angry on Bajaj for making the 220 design not exclusive anymore.

You tried your best to review this bike. But, to me bajaj had stopped evolving. They aren't doing anything new or fresh, all they do are rotating the same cycle parts, mixing them & launching a new bike. There are only two bikes that are having gear position indicator namely platina & dominar. Rest are history, i love the gear position indicator feature but bajaj had stopped to evolve, i hope bajaj do's something & gets itself saved from losing. Especially iam really keen on what comes from the bajaj-truimph collab... 🤔

Pulsar 220 design should have been left alone and shouldn't have been pasted on a 180. Bajaj often downgrade a bike with lower capacity engine. This is the reason Bajaj doesn't get the brand perception right. This is the reason Dominar doesn't sell even after being a superior bike then the RE in every aspect.

@Beep Bop agreed however it was my college bike that time got hell lot of attention above that you actually felt what actually horses meant. It was brutal when people had splendors passion or 4s champion, cd 100 and the noisy rx. for us that time it was a gem which now is gold. Models after that are just more cosmetic.
