Baiwei really is the new APC Toys. This looks gorgeous. Their KO SS102 looks flawless since they fixed the legs. Their Scourge looks PHENOMENAL and the paint on their SS ROTF Megatron is beautiful

The way BaiWei's Shockwave looks is probably how he looked fresh out the Well of Allsparks. Before all the war grimed out all that color.

@@kennythetrend3688 yeah, baiwei is a 4th party on the nest of days, they ain't doing that. and as a matter of fact, no 3rd party is doing mainline scale bay-verse. we just gotta wait for an actually good mold.

The only big problem that I can personally see on the figure is just there's way too much purple of a shade I feel is way too bright for this design. I personally like the more muted and darker color scheme of the original SS Shockwave. Though I feel if it weren't only for the paint scheme, I'd say that it looks great.

I think there are 2 versions of this figure

If Baiwei makes their version of the leader class Fallen and improves upon the areas that were kinda lacking, I think we’ll be golden!

I was in awe when i saw him up for preorder, had to get him immediately and he came in yesterday, love it🔥

This makes me somewhat nostalgic for the old Voyager despite it being replaced by the Studio Series one.

He originally was supposed to be the main villain but they changed the script and almost went with Ultra Magnus before converting him to Sentinel Prime.

The color scheme eerily reminds me of TFP shockwave and I love it.

Bring back the Studio Series vs OG comparison series!

I actually found some metallic purple paint that matched the SS figure and then lightly brushed some on my copy. It really helps the color pop. Along with adding the DNA kit

When the kit for scourge arrives is it okay to do the review on the kit before you? I miss said it last time.

On my beiwei shockwave, the metal pin that holds the head is loose and so it can't hold itself up, any tips to fix it?

Is the hose good quality plastic? Or will is wear down like the ss version

Any idea how we’d go about fixing his loose head ball joint?

Not seen the film as I'm not much of a Bay fan, but I do love Shockwave. At first rst, I took a long time to get used to this design, still not 100% sold on it but this toy is lovely, and for the money it's a proper bargain. Would look good next to my other Shockwaves.

Just got this figure and he looks amazing. However there are a few problems with the plastic. The plastic near the hip joints and the back are pliable and bend a bit too much for my liking and could break if you transform it too much. But if you don’t transform it you should be fine.

I love this figure but mine has a smaller peg on one side of the hose and it doesn’t seem to want to plug in can someone help?

It maybe a bit much purple but this version of Shockwave looks so awesome and very accurate.

got this guy, can confirm he's pretty good, only compmaint are the pretty flimsy himps hinges during transformation.

I was content to keep the original mold, even after customizing it with gunmetal grey and gold. However, after seeing this, I think that this might replace it. My only complaint is that I'm not feeling the overdose of purple, as I did like the subtlety of the original. Still, great figure. I do want to see them tackle SS Lockdown (give him new weapons and fix the arm panel issue), SS TF4 Grimlock (Give him the DNA upgrade kit). SS-49 Bumblebee (make door wings solid plastic), SS Brawl (fix arm panel issue and give him better articulation), SS DOTM Soundwave (give him his guns and make a more screen accurate chest), SS Blackout (more gunmetal grey, give him Grindor's hands, and include the DNA upgrade kit weapons)

I always hated Bay's idea of Decepticons being to proud to get an Earth mode. That's when the people above him should have stepped in and said, "They are getting an Earth mode.". This figure looks awesome and for THAT price! Really nice. I do have the Studio Series version with the DNA upgrade set.

Bro even G1 Shockwave wasn't that purple! I hate the color but they did do some nice things to the sculpt it seems. The best possible shockwave seems to be a combo of the original, the DNA kit, and this figure, but due to the insane purple color, parts swapping would look terrible :(

huh my copy isn't that much of a purple, its probably the lighting that makes the paint so bright, mine is more of a dark purple.

6:06 those heel spurs on my copy are the same on each foot so it looks weird in tank mode, so I just removed them
