It’s a Dubuque rig. Been around for years if your a Mississippi River nut you have used this for decades. Mainly deep cold water fishing below the dams.

I was close to your neck of the woods last week fishing. On sleepy eye lake. Caught a ton of bass, pike and some big eyes. Biggest was 27”

I didn't watch all the video, but looks like you're on the Mississippi at Hastings.

Welcome to Wisconsin! Love that rig! Will try it out soon. Sometimes will do a moon eye and plastic at the bottom with a drop shot hook 12-16" up and a leech. Best wishes.

It's technically a Bellevue rig. A Dubuque rig has 2 stick baits in tandem. Bellevue rigs has a jig on the bottom

Dubuque rig is usually a 3/4 to an ounce jig on the bottom and a 2 ft leader with a small jig or even a bare hook on the top.

Sobi, don’t mean to dog ya cuz I love your content, but crappie fisherman have been using that rig for years. A old guy fishing the Dresbach Dam taught me how to tie that back when I was 12 or so.

Nahh..its a 3-way rig or better Known as The Wolf River three-way Rig (invented in Oshkosh, WI for Flies) use that in the Winnebago System all the time, But with a Pencil 🖊️ Sinker
