our baler ties a bale every 18 to 24 seconds, because we can load a 21-bale bundle in the trailer on average of every 6 minutes depending on the hay coming off the unroller
If the twine is hanging up on the bill hook back the bale tension off.
If a New Holland wasn't tieing a bale.. We had a 570 years ago, and one knotter had an issue where it would either hold the twine too long or not enough. A neighbor had a similar baler, brand new and New Holland had to replace the entire knotter due to a defect. They are good balers, however their knotter issues pop up time to time.
Pretty good match up. I pulled a 310 with my M, I'd say that as bout as big a baler it would want. Just got an IH 45 baler to tinker with and run behind it.

We used an IH 46 behind an M for years. If you kept it in adjustment it would never miss a bale and it could handle big windrows. I could bale circles around my uncle and his JD 24T haha

@@krissyb1980 we had a 46 before the 310 and I loved it. We pulled it with a 4010 Deere which was way overkill. The big windrows made me nervous with that many ponies in front. Ended up breaking the arm that actuates the needles and it never was right after but we also out grew it so then came the 310.

Farmall m and a square baler?! F that fuel price lol. Dang things love to drink gasoline. I think I was using 10gal every 6hr on my m. Square balers just suck 😂 looks fun though

I don’t use 10 gallons in 6 hours plowing. Tractor had to have seroius tuning problems
What did you do to resolve the Broken Bales? We have having the same issue with our NH269

We had to fabricate new sliders in the baleshoot. There were a few gone, and the bale didn't have enough tension to pack right
