Let me sum up a better story then : A 98 year old Man who fought in WW2 as a kid and served in last days of Germany, he saw the Rise and Fall when he returned he saw no Remains of his family being left, there was no such thing as home left, there was no government left to take the responsibility of a soldiers damage. There was nothing left on his life not even money, He worked as a labourer to rebuild the city once it was rebuild the country no longer needed uneducated and old labour his Country no longer needed him, there were More Young educated Labours thriving in the city. He used to live in the streets often with some food or no food at all, he used to live on a hope that one day he'll see his Mom again just like he saw her before joining the War, Laying on a bench with a face full of scars his cloths all torn up and a empty stomach, He Remembers the Warm memories of his family making him feel like it was just tomorrow as he saw a Convoy of Young German Soldiers, remembering he was one of them ( things I have written aren't based upon facts it's just that i thought it fits the damn story)

Interestingly, those SdKfz.s had a V-shaped hull, long before the MRAP concept. It's funny how the Germans figured out the need for sloped armor on cars and half-tracks, but not on tanks.
@WamuroRiXi08

Early-on, The Germans actually know of the sloped armor concepts, but they didn't think it's worth it at the cost of space and ergonomics which flat armor has a better time providing. But seeing enemy sloped armor in combat and seeing their effectiveness, eventually led to them finally instituting sloped armor on later tanks like panther, King tiger, and many other tank destroyers alike.

The jagdpanther and hetzer are 2 great examples of german late war sloped armor. The Jagdpanther's upper plate is very strong, while the hetzer is a small sized, decently armored TD great for ambushes. If the germans had the panther and hetzer at the beginning, they probably would have taken france much faster. Then again, the design of those tanks were a result of real combat.
@anthonyirwin6627
9 ай бұрын
@@Kohei536 Hetzer was a defensive type of vehicle, so it wouldn't have been that useful in 1940 France. And as for the panther, that project had no chance of being ready for the French campaign as work started in 1939, meaning vk30.01/02 (as the panther was back then) had no chance of being finished in time. besides, all things considered they actually got france faster than most expected

Seven, eight years ago, I spent an autumn week in Prag. Whilst I was walking maybe two km. south of the centre, suddenly I came into a sea of swastika flags, military and civilian vehicles alike. A chinese TV company was shooting a film, the background actors or "the crowd" were gorgeously dressed; first I took a lot of photos and then started to talk to them - many of them were students from many different countries, the only condition was that they looked "central european". I still cherish the picture where I stand arm in arm with a young russian woman in historical garments (besides, I was not clad badly, either, as always, they might have included me on the spot), both of us happily waving a swastika flag.

@WamuroRiXi08

@anthonyirwin6627

Beautiful Vehicles they all are
