I have one in 30-06 . I payed too mutch for it atauction , but just had to have it . Bakal makes good solid " basic " guns Have a single shot 12ga made in " USSR " . Take down feature , easily adjustable sights and that neat spiral fluted barel ... vary unique . Never fired it yet ??? Ontario Canada .

The Baikal Kipplauf is very accurate for a stock rifle with I think a 1:10 twist rate

I just bought one of these in 223, my had has one in 222 and also 7.62x39

Nice rifle in a useful caliber. I handload these with various .311 150 grain soft points that make it a great big game cartridge to 250 yards or so. I shoot this in a BCA upper AR 47.

@@HangInThereCat Nothing wrong with CVA... But Baikal is faster. If round in chamber, just press the lever - hammer cocked... With CVA little fiddly especially with scope mounted.

I have a Genuine 2004 .243 Win Russian Baikal not man by Remington, maned by Concerned Kalashnikov with a black receiver
