@@manish2662 We call it begun bharta in Bengal and we use cold pressed raw mustard oil and mix tomatoes and coriander leaves. Indian food especially Bihari is the best.

I do the same and when I feel like it I make my own with codfish buljol...the combination is delicious... but that's when I feel like that flavor.

jean ambrose good morning ! so I tried it and it came out awesome. I think I needed a little more salt didn't have any chillies but I had the hot pepper. I'm going to do it again tom. thanks for making the video enjoyable and easy to follow. well done. looking forward to other dishes.
Now done make this didn’t need the recipe I’m a trini but wanted company to cook lol

Really nice recipe. I also make mine like this except I never put chilly pepper in the baigan to roast as well; but usually roast the hot pepper. I will definitely try roasting it with the chilly peppers in it next time since I love pepper. I also like this with hot sada roti :)

Cover the stove around the burner with the foil and toss it when you're done to avoid the clean up AND get the flavour!

I love bainganchokha.It is very delicious.It is from Indian states of uttar Pradesh and Bihar.In India mustard oil is also added in this.

Our ancestors came from uttar pradesh and bihar and other parts of India 🇮🇳 in 1838 by the British as a system known as indured servitude to guyana 🇬🇾, Trinidad 🇹🇹, Jamaica 🇯🇲, and other parts of the Caribbean as well as Fiji 🇫🇯 and mariturus. This is the dish that was brought by our ancestors and kept the tradition for 145 yrs
